Battery powered bee vacuum under $100

I recently constructed a battery powered bee vacuum using a Bauer 20v vacuum from Harbor Freight. It is lightweight, portable, affordable and very functional. In this video I show you how complete with parts you will need.

Add an additional chamber with a screen that has a greater surface area. Then it would take the whole swarm ball covering the screen to stop the suction.

Excellent idea, and it came just in time - I did a presentation at my local bee club last night and described your idea for improvement to anyone wanting to build their own. It is certainly something that I will be doing to upgrade mine - thanks again!
