This is the only 3rd time I’ve bought these packs and hit the grail. Nice video and congrats on the 3 redeemable pops.
Nobody sees the scam in Funko nfts? $30 a pack so you can spend up to $400 and not get a single thing? For $30 a pack should always get a pop that's redeemable
Exactly! Should be guaranteed a redeemable per 1 $30 pack
1. funko is upfront with the odds of pulling redeemables so no its not a scam
2. having garenteed redeemables would kinda defeat the purpose of these being limited collectables
3. you can bypass the cardpacks altogether and just buy the nfts on the secondary market for a good price
if you dont like the packs then dont buy them. pretty simple
Not necessarily, all the Commons and rares you can still provide as redeemable. The packs are for the "grail" but they can still provide some kind of something.

@@hieinhno it is borderline scammy, maybe even more so that NFT Art of Apes because they are using the pull of funkos that the majority won’t get to entice people in. It’s a project being run on the basis of 'how can we extract as much money from our fans as possible with the least effort'. NFT projects don’t need to be pure cash grabs, even NFT art ones where the art basically has no value (anything you can take an exact copy of for free really has no value) but it needs effort put in so there is utility that has people wanting to hold onto the NFT's and have a demand for people wanting to pick them up, only the redeemable ones really have any desire pushing people to hold onto them and people wanting to buy them but that goes away as soon as the redeeming periods over where those NFT's and also all the other NFT's in the run crash in price. Maintaining value long term via long term utility is essential for art based NFT projects but so many projects, especially those from some of the bigger companies don’t seem to realise that, they just see almost free, quick to obtain money
Congrats on the redeemables I was able to hit two grails and three of the four legendaries and completing the royalty and by selling the other epics and cards I was able to pick up the legendary I was missing so yay!

Those packs were pretty decent. With the Epic worth $7 to $10 each, that session was a winner. Also, I do not know how educated you are in NFTs but you don't seem to pay attention to mint number of the cards. Be careful. Mint number under 100 (so 1 to 99) are worth a bit more than a normal high mint number. So don't sell those duplicates at the same price you'd sell a high mint number. Nice to see NFT content again. There are not so much on YT.
I’m about 30+ packs in so far and got 1 Grail Optimus, 4 Bumblebees , 1 Stretch and 13! Furies!!! I never thought I’d ever get to the point where I cringe when I received a legendary 😫. So I’ve just sold half on Atomic Hub to get my H Hippo…

buying digital packs from any company is like buying pops from companies who do not sell pops in sealed packs.

So serious question Clint what do you do with all the nfts that aren’t like rare or anything good? Like what do you do with all the commons??
If you collect all the Commons, Uncommons, Rares, and Epics, you can a physical redeembale Pop, in this case it's Freedy Funko with a Hasbro shirt and holding a Simon Says.
I've grown to hate these Funko NFT's as they really are just scams. NFT artwork is worthless, anything you can save an exact copy of for free basically has no value, it’s not like physical art where there are some unique properties that a copy can never reproduce. For Art based NFT's t have any value it’s about giving them utility as that is what gives them some worth actually buying and holding the art but these have no utility. And before someone goes, you can get some pops, sure you can if you are lucky but most people don’t and they get stuck with cards worth way less than you paid for the pack and which will sink on value even further once the redemption period ends for the physicals. You could excuse them early on, utility can take time to build the systems to give them utility but we are now over a year into them doing this and we are now actually often seeing two release a month and the only utility they have added is it can win you a free special NFT but that has basically no value so no-one really cares. No-one should be expecting to make 100x but the expectation that their investment should on average maintain around the $30 per pack isn’t really a big ask but the demand is so low values just plummet. People need to want to keep hold of them and want to acquire them otherwise they are just abusing their fans with the faint hope of getting a physical. And I suspect in most cases even those getting physicals are when you factor in the post for the physicals spends more than the physicals they get are worth

They don’t even need 1 redeemable per pack, the problem with funkos NFT's like most Art based NFT projects is there is no long term utility. If there was utility be it you can use the cards in a game or even something as simple as having a raffle for NFT owners which can get them priority access to buying exclusives or an additional raffle ontop of the public raffle when it comes to access at comic cons or to attend Funko events THEN that would maintain demand for all cards and rather than your $30 pack of cards being lucky to be worth $5 atleast help maintain the value closer to the $30
The Hippos are $55 and the Mr. Potato Head is $84 so you got $194 in redeemables so you lost money.
