My journey with Beckett Simonon goes way back, over 5 years to the date. I was browsing the Male Fashion Advice (MFA) subreddit one day and saw a sweet deal for a pair of German Army Trainers (GATs) called the Morgen Trainer.
I never owned a pair before and thought it was a cool alternative to the basic white trainer silhouette, a la Common Projects. and so I decided to pull the trigger, even though I knew I'd have to wait 3 months to get them.
The style and silhouette reminds me of my old Diesel sneakers I had way back in high school-with a similar look and feel w/ the navy, but a more flattering silhouette and the gumsole detail. I searched and couldn't find any photos of them unfortunately.

I bought their Rivera Trainers which is their contemporary and retro take on the Army Trainers. Quality is amazing. I felt the Rivera model esthetic is more sleek and mature. Can't go wrong with anything with Beckett Simonon!
