Great review. Really like the look of these to replace my (now dead and returned) Sony WF XM4s. One thing though, they look huge! Does the outer part not rub against your ears?
Actually the outer part does not touch your ears at all. They have wings that you can install based on your ear size.
Hi Ron, Really helpful video Thank you very much, I have one question which spin fit model should I buy?
My go to are either the CP360, CP1025 and the new OMNIs. They have other versions as well.
I’d say for this style I’d go for cp360 or Omni. Omni can be a bit finnicky if you have a size too large it might leak on a deeper fit. Cp360 fit the best, but Omni sound better imo (very similar to spinfit w1, just shorter and wider bore). Both are comfy with anything I’ve used them on.

I have a pair of Denon PerL (not pro, but the cheaper one). These earbuds are great
I have Bose QCIIs, went for tbise for the ANC. But want somehting purely for sound. Was looking ay the Beoplay EX or the Pi7 S2 (i ise the PX8s for over ear headphones), these have me really interested. Wonder how these compare to the Beoplays or Pi7 S2?
salut en casque je possede aussi le px8 que je préfère au casque bang et olufsen h95 mais en écouteur c’est pas pareil. Je pensais aussi que Bowers allait être mieux et pas du tout je possède les pi7 s2 et les bang ex pour l’instant, je n’ai pas trouvé mieux que les bang ex il y’a eu une mise à jour il y a encore plus de bass plus joli et le volume est plus fort, sans hésiter les bang ex maintenant. J’attends de voir une vidéo de comparaison avec les denon pour voir si je les achète aussi, mais les bang c’est une masterclass ça fait plus d’un an que je les ai. J’ai acheté beaucoup d’écouteurs très cher, et je n’ai pas trouvé mieux pour l’instant ils sont top
hey man, just got these today & i’m in love, best sound i’ve ever experienced. Can I just ask - on the pro EQ section, where have you toggled these parts to? i’ve put all mine to the top (loudest) would you recommend this or just put it to your own preferences, also do you recommend toggling on the “high gain” mode
Glad to hear that you like them! I have my Pro EQ set to the V-Shape formation. But I normally keep it on the Personalized setting. That give me the best sound, IMO. Using the Personalized setting, I really don't mess with the gain at all.

@@TheCurtisdaviesv shape is bass boost and treble boost. It could also mean recessed mids, u shape is bass and treble boost without recessed mids. Most people still call u shape a v though. They are similar enough.
Hi Ron, in your opinion Bose Ultra- B&O Beoplay Ex or Denon Pro’s.? I want good fit and sound quality (bass….) to me with good foam tips ANC is pretty irrelevant in all honesty. I have Cambridge Audio Melomania 1’s (not 1+’s) which are REALLY basic function wise, no ANC or indeed any actual app at all but sound is great and sound isolation is amazing with foam tips. I want to upgrade though.
I can't give an honest opinion between the Bose QC Ultra and the Denon PerL Pro without comparing them. But I can tell you that the Beoplay EX will suffer because of the low overall volume. Stay tuned for that comparison.
I really wonder if the personalized sound, regulates frequencies for peole eith hearing loss. Do it actually csn make people eith bad hearing actually hear frequencies thry don't normally.

Can I use either earbud while the other sits in the case ? I was ready to buy them tonight , but I thought I read someone say you couldn’t on the website reviews. I’d appreciate your input on this matter and thanks for the review
Yes. They can be used individually.

Have you tried to use the Denon app with the Nura True Pros? It will update the firmware on the NTP and even the phone thinks they are Denon's Pearl Pro even thou they are NTP. The Nura app won't recognize the buds afterwards but the Denon app (essentially the same) will still recognize them.
No, I haven't tried that. I will have to check that out.

Would you say you still use your nuratrue pros or the PerL Pros more?
I use my NuraTrue Pro more. I've experienced bluetooth connection droppage with the PerL Pro. it's not all the time but enough to be annoying. I don't have that issue with the NuraTrue Pro.
Please please please, trusting your judgment can you compare these vs. The BW Pi7s2? They should be best in class sound. For me its all about sound quality, stage and image. A true sound immersive experience. Thanks alot for your efforts

Les Technics az80 egalement et la difference de prix est considerable. Dites moi vos pensees? Egalement les Sennheiser MT3. Merci

Bought mine pair yesterday. After first charge and the personalisation process, they sounded great. This morning (after 10 hrs) the right earbud is not charging any more and any suggested method for help from Denon' guide is not working. Even the resetting process fails. Any suggestion?
Contact Denon and see about getting either a new pair or a refund.
having the same issue, the left earbud is dead. Quality control seems to be an issue. Sent message to customer support hoping they can send me a new earbud or something.
I was about to get one of these when I stumbled upon the Hifiman Svanar Wireless. Now I'm just waiting for someone to stack up these two against each other
I just checked those out. $500 is pretty steep for me (since I pay for them myself). I will try to get them in.

Been using NTP for 4 months now! It blows away any ear/headphone out there in the market in the sound quality department! That said, started to run into some technical issues especially with heavy sweat during running sessions, sudden switch offs, high pitch & crackling noises from one side with ANC turned on. Read online that these are commonly reported issues which is a big bummer for a premium buds at this price point
Wondering how Denon’s stack up in terms of built quality & durability.
Sorry to hear about your experience. I haven't run into those issues with the PerL Pros. I will definitely pay close attention to that.
I still feel tempted to get the Denon.
I was thinking about buying the Denon Perl pro but I'm not willing to pay $350 for one pair of earbuds but I did order the Denon Perl for under $200 hopefully I won't be disappointed.

They do. The PerL Pro are the NuraTrue Pro with better mics.

My verdict is, the Nura are on par with the Denon if not better. Only improvement Denon did was the mics, other than that there isn't a massive wow factor difference between the 2. I found the Nura to be more imerssive than the Denon too.
If you have the Nura True Pro stick with those, save your money.

My Nura True Pro stopped charging a few weeks ago. Thank goodness it happened just before that one year warranty was null and void. They gave me the option to get the Denon Pearl Pro as a replacement because they don’t have any nura true pro anymore. That’s a complete bummer. Now I have to wait 4 weeks for the replacement. I sure hope the Denon sound quality is on par with the nura true pro’s. If not, I’m going to send back for a full refund. Total bummer the Nura True Pro’s broke less then a year.
You won't be disappointed by the PerL Pros. They're just as good as the NuraTrue Pros, but with better mics for calls, IMO.
What telephone do you use? Does your phone support aptX Lossless codec?

I use the Galaxy S23 Ultra. It does not support aptX Lossless codec. Not too many phones do at this point.

I just bought the Status Between 3anc from Amazon for the simple reason I have 30 days to return them. They are slightly better than Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 so I decided to keep them. The sound stage is wider and gives them a very transparent sound. They stick out of the ears awkwardly but sound great. Then I stumbled upon an ad for the Denon Perl Pro and now have to decide if they are better than the 3ANC. Problem is the Perl Pro might not be delivered before my 30 days are up. If the Denon's are better I will return the 3anc's. It would be great to have a comparison between the two as another viewpoint.

I knew about them for a couple of months. I kept on the look out for them. When I got the email about pre-ordering them, I jumped on it. Thank goodness my 💵 was right at that time!

I've had 3 pairs of DPP's now and all had faults in one or the other earbud (crackles / bad feedback / ambient being fed into bud regardless of mode)
Not good for a £300 set of buds!

I was saving up to buy the Nura product, and I was almost able to make the purchase and then Denon bought out Nura, rebranded them and doubled the price. All is fair in love & war and corporate takeovers.
Facts!! To their defense, Denon has improved the mics for calls and tweek the sound for the better.

Just bought these for my daughter towards her Xmas presents based on this review. I use Nuraphones and she loves them, so, hopefully she enjoys them as much as you did Ron!

These are Nura True Pro. Just rebranded
Denon did buy out NuraSound and added improved mics for calls. They sound (especially in personlized mode) is still amazing.
I wouldn’t dispute they sound great, especially after the personalised tuning but I’m a little disappointed. I already owned the NuraTrue Pro and what I’d hoped for these was an upgrade to the QCC5181 which would have delivered head tracking spatial audio and lossless over LE Audio at 48Khz. I would like to have seen LC3 added too. Oh and Dolby Atmos. I definitely would have bought them if they’d done that. Instead they just rebranded the 2022 product. So, I’ll need to wait until the next generation of these before I consider them again.
