Kevin Nash talking about someone else sitting out and getting paid is like a pyromaniac complaining about someone starting fires
Unbelievable right
You dorks need to get off Punks knob. He’s a jerk that can’t perform in ring. He’s not some anti bully savior.
Truth !
besides the fact that punks been working on the shows while hurt. but i wouldnt expect a guy who’s only talent in life is getting cross buzzed to know that.
That’s about the whole of it
Nash always mad at Punk because Punk torched him in that promo 10 years ago
What a fool 🤦♂️
All I remember from that is that cm punk looks like a Waffle House cook
@@Mrunder946My favorite part was Punk talking about his sister Shaleen texting him "Omg Kevin Nash WTF Thought he was dead"
yeah ever since he legit hates punk
@@greghughes8147 😂 amazing line. I go back to that promo from time to time because it's kinda cathartic.
Kevin Nash tore his quad while saying that
Nash got those McMahon brand quads
You popped me with that. Legend!
🤣🤣🤣
True story 🤣🤣
Damn sure did 🤣🤣🤣
Why does Nash's opinion matter? He was a lazy wrestler. Got paid for doing as little as possible
Very overrated wrestler. He knew the right people befriending them who took him out the top. I met him in person and he was a oversized child who was wasted and couldn't even lift his head off the table.
He stepped on alot of people. He did make sure the boys' got guaranteed contracts.
I was in the Army with Kevin. He's an acquired taste, very intelligent and the funniest person I ever knew.
He did more for the business and himself than most.
We never crossed paths during my brief "cup of coffee" in the business.
I tip my hat. Nothing but respect.
Hell, he was lazy at doing promos.
It's like he forgets Scott hall was the cool one not him lol same when he was with Shawn Michaels
@@wagsomanwow
He got paid for 2 years by AOL time warner to not work.
I thought Kevin's whole philosophy was to 'work smart, not hard'.
@@ryanboman8211 more like barely work and politic hard
"Respect the business" "Get paid"
Nash likes to brag about he and Hall bringing in the era of guaranteed contracts, but is now complaining about the benefits of having a guaranteed contract...🙄
Nash still isn't over that promo from Punk
Kevin Nash the man responsible for wrestler getting guaranteed contract and fucking over 2 wrestling promotions complaining about anything a wrestler does is fuckin wild
Hes the Vince Russo of wrestlers. He has bad ideas that are praised by a small, but loud percentage of internet fans and it’s gone to his head.
Every chance he gets, Nash plugs himself for that and demands that all current wrasslers bow down to him for that.
To paraphrase the Macho Man to a certain extent, "Sean Oliver you are guilty by association, Yeah!"
@@smoothpoon86 I long thought that Russo brought down WCW's quality, but Nash definitely started it.
scott hall was the one that got the guaranteed contracts do you even know wtf you’re talking about
At the end of the day, we remember Kevin's career based off who he was friends with.
Who is we?
Welcome to OZ!
That’s not fair. He was a big star on his own as Diesel (yes he flopped as World Champ he was still a star tho) then he made a huge impact when he returned to WCW & became the hottest thing instantly with Scott Hall, you don’t just do that “because of your friends” there are many people who were friends with Famous Wrestler’s & yet they couldn’t reach anywhere near the same status
Hall and Nash are the two most important wrestlers of the biggest boom period in wrestling history. CM punk is a weak little cauliflower eared whiner from long, long after the last time wresting was even good or popular.
@@joen8529And Cm Punk has quadrupled Kevin Nash’s career earrings already and will long be remembered after his career unlike week leg Nash
Punk still draws while injured unlike Nash
Punk may have trouble drawing on a piece of paper while recovering from a tricep injury. The pain must be excruiating.

I ain't much of a Punk fan, but damn, I love how many asshat's minds he lives rent free in. He's one of the biggest draws in AEW despite not working there.
WTF Kevin Nash? Thought he was dead LOL
Glass houses throwing stones all that. I guess Nash has to try to stir up controversy to get the views.
It's not working.
For some reason Nash and The K100 guys (especially disco) think that the controversy stuff gets clicks when in reality people just stop watching 😂
Nash’s podcasts get no views bruh 😂
@@ainaalaina-kn8kp it started off quite well but he's just incredibly boring and vague, Kevin Nash. Sean Oliver would thrive in a 'looser' setting
The difference is today’s management.
20 - 30 yrs ago, the wrestlers had almost just as much say as the dr did, in regards to coming back. Now, management won’t budge unless the Dr releases them 100%.
How dare someone fully nurse an injury to prevent further damage! The audacity.
Nash is also leaving out that this is the second time punk tore that same quad in like 1 year span .
He'll come back, get another injury and be away for another half a year. I wonder what his contract pays vs how much he brings.
Okay am I the only one that buys it funny that Nash constantly goes on about how he tore his quad, how he's sick of getting s*** for tearing his quad, but he always goes back to talking about tearing his quad!?!?!? And him saying don't lay around and get paid is freaking hilarious.
Kevin Nash did all he could to get guaranteed money... Now he wants you to believe after sitting on his arse running down a turner contract he was all work ethic... Complete tool but well spoken so he gets a lot of followers. Let's be real he presided over the death of wrestling as a watchable entertainment option. I mean who really like the shit on now.
He gets a lot of followers? Lol
Well spoken?

Kevin Nash came to our little town a few years ago with a small wrestling company as the main attraction, but claimed he couldn't do anything, not even sign autographs because his knee was swollen, I walked up with my little brother because he was just standing around before the show and he told us to fuck off because he was hurt. Haven't been a fan since.
I’m not the biggest Nash fan, but be completely honest about what it is he said man, did he tell you to “F*ck off” fr?
@reinhartdagr8108 yes. I said could we get your autograph and he said no I won't be doing anything because I'm hurt. I asked not even if we pay? And he said no. Fuck off. The guy that ran the building it was in said bro cmon man its a kid, and he said just be glad im here. Then he opened the show on the microphone saying I won't be doing anything tonight because my knee has some swelling. Enjoy the show. Please don't approach me.
Yup that’s how he was when I met him too. Total mark for himself.
@Some_dude_34 thank god its not just me
What a piece of trailer park trash from Detroit Michigan. The thing is he's not even from Detroit Michigan he's from a suburb and tries to make himself sound tough.
Kevin Nash is always complaining about something 😂lol.. He's a bitter old man
How can a guy who still described himself as the word "Cool" in his mid forties ever become bitter?I
The NWO 4 life (Get it? Cuz 4 sounds like for) from a bunch of middle aged roidheads was funny too, yes I wonder if they were after that young adult demographic
No one is more bitter than Bret hart
@@ryanfinley3304 yeah Bret is the perpetual bitter old man of wrestling
@@ifgwelfhe was justified for a few of those years, but 30 years later he’s still dwelling over shit like a child. I love Bret but he needs to take his head out of his ass too

Shame Nash couldn't heal in time to job to the Giant at Starrcade 1997.
No no...."heart attack" 😂
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of that.
"I tore my quad...." Which time, Kevin, which time?
This quote did me in 😅
Nash has turned into one of the biggest jokes in the history of wrestling.
In fairness most guys take more bumps in one night than Nash did in 6 months.
His attitude is why so many of his peers from his generation ended up addicted to pills and in the graveyard.
Lol not really. He's implying he's taking more time than what it takes. What you are referring to is schedule and working injured. It's still brutal for the body, they just have stricter standards on drug usage and whatever.
Some people’s work requires more of their muscles than throwing an elbow in the corner and lifting their foot up a little higher.
Nash will say absolutely anything to get attention. He's a very sad man. All there really is to it.
Kevin complaining about something. You don't say.
Wow Nash talking about guaranteed money
He's not out because he needs to be.. he's building the hottest angle in the business without needing to wrestle to do it.
A great example of Nash’s bias. He does have a good mind for wrestling but he is way too slimy and two faced to be taken seriously.
Can you separate a good mind for the business and being two faced?? It's build on the company making the "contractors" jealous of each other and watch out your spots gonna be taken
I was never a fan of Kevin Nash at all.
nash tore his tri in march of 2002 and return in june 2002 3 month later and 3 moves into his first match tears his quad so maybe more time is a good thing for stretching and such
The story was he wasn't medically cleared to ring when he tore his quad but they begged him to wrestle. It was night Austin walked out bc he didn't want to job to Lesnar. Nash didn't have his gear. He had someone send it over on a flight. But they didn't sne dhis knee brace. So he wrestled without the knee brace... then he tore his quad. People make fun of it. But he rather tear a quad at 42 then die of a heart attack at 38 like Eddie Guerrero bc of steroid abuse. Nash rehabbed and came back the next yr a drew a bigger PPV buyrate with HHH at Bad Blood then Rock vs. Goldberg few moths prior.
@nWoWolfpacTV2016 cool story but if he needed a knee brace that badly then why would they let him be in the ring at all? A guy his size putting that much pressure on his joints and leg muscles when he was hobbling was a stupid idea.
Also Eddie Guerrero dying at 38 was a result of the high standard for WWE who had an uphill battle with maintaining his form. Nash walking and barely doing a sprint to tear his quad isn't necessarily flattering.
@@CtKEngage You'd think they'd have some spare knee braces.
"OMG...Its Kevin Nash... I thought he was dead."
🤡🤡🤡
Lol
The way he can say this unironically kills me.
Nash was just on Vice saying that people were suckers for showing up to work.
Nash and a podcast dont mix. Hes kind of tarnishing his legacy with some of the stupid shit he says.
Reminder that when Nash booked WCW he booked himself to lose in a retirement match so he could do nothing week after week and still get paid 😂
Now that's what I call "booking" lol
The boys are taken care of better now, than 10/20/30 years ago. Simple
0:33, - "I tore my quad...a lot of people don't know about it..."
Bullsh*t! EVERYBODY knows you tore your quad! You tore your quad walking across the friggin' ring. Everybody knows it! I bet the footage of it has been viewed a million times on CZcams alone by now.
Someone doesn't understand sarcasm
@@bcal8118 I do when it's present. He wasn't being sarcastic.
I will give Tony Kahn some props here.
He can keep a super bloated roster that allows people to heal from injuries...including little nagging ones....and when they come back, people pop like they just git a new surprise wrestler. That's a wn for the wrestlers, and a win for Tony to be able to afford 2 or 3 full rosters worth of rotation.
Pot talking about the kettle
Nash is overrated. Just a big man who had a good look at times and is well spoken.
He's a smart guy who always knew how to schmooze the right people and genetics gave him a good "in" to the business at the time. His whole career is really based on networking and the milking of one gimmick (NWO) to death. On the surface level it wouldn't bother me as much if he wasn't such a huge hypocrite about certain things....he contradicts himself given the person or the scenario on all sorts of stuff.
CM Punk is the most overrated wrestler of all time
@djangofett4879 apparently you haven't heard of a guy named jon Moxley
@djangofett4879 most? All time? Lol no.....
In shoot interviews he's well spoken, but I can't recall a single great Kevin Nash segment or promo that was solely him.
I'm realizing that I don't really like Nash and he can be unbearable at times. Perhaps he's been like this more since Hall and his son died but even listening to some old stories he seems like a prick. Would love to hear him be positive for an entire show one time
Kevin Nash tore his Quad on July 8, 2002 and made his return Apr 07, 2003 out for 9 months
0:23 I remember that Terry Fong. Chinese Legend. And then along came the Egyptian. They had a great feud.
What happened to the version of Nash that never had a problem with things?
Hes not doing steroids like Kevin Nash and his buddies
When The Dutch tells it like it is at Nash's face
He just makes these stupid takes to get clicks on his failing podcast. It just isn’t working.
Best wrestling podcast on the is right here with Dutch thanks gentlemen.
I knew this would be golden when Nash started to bring up his quad
Nash is still salty with Punk. Every wrestler should rest up if they are injured. Nash logic doesn’t make sense.
MLB is king of the guaranteed contracts in pro sports. Players that have a guarantee will get all of their money regardless of production or health status. However, the players without the guarantee are only guaranteed that year's salary (with some small codiciles, they may only get a portion of the guarantee). But yes, the guys going year-to-year have to keep earning it, or they'll get released or sent down to the minor leagues, where their pay will be significantly less. A trade doesn't affect their pay though. There's a lot of nuances with this topic. Too many to discuss, but one important one is that if a player has a guaranteed MLB contract gets returned to the minors or released, then they still get 100% of their guarantee, whereas other pro sports don't guarantee all of their contracts - MLB guaranteed contracts are true guarantees.
Agree with Dutch about the old timers not getting their dues. I mean y'all took it so seriously with kayfabe and took bigger hits and got paid jack squat shit. These guys in AEW and even WWE now wouldn't know kayfabe or a decent bump if it shot'em in the ass.
Guys are getting paid better now nd not so many are dying premature deaths so.... Younger generations fault?? they didn't get their dues because back then they were told to suck it up, then they turn mighty snowflake when the young ones actually fight for a few rights, the were all so selfish they couldn't unionise because it's based on being paranoid of your peers taking your spot. That was the business , it was the lifestyle they kept glorifying and now they're bitter because they know they were exploited and the younger ones are getting better deals and better employee protection rights (are they still "independent contractors" who owe everything to the company but technically aren't employed? Thats not so much wrong as it is sick)
Punk isnt sitting at home. He has been on tv, doing angles, and working at the performance center. He is not staying home collecting money.
Kevin is a great politician. He learned how to negotiate from the biggest politician in wrestling of all time. I can't fault the guy if the companys agree with the terms of the contract.
Kevin Nash is an example of the guy who lived long enough to become the villain.
Someone said Nash had two moves, one of them was flipping his hair lol
Kevin Nash of all people does not need to be making implications about the professionalism of anyone else. Mash, when he was Diesel, literally no showed a meet and greet event I attended, which he was advertised for.
If CM punk took steroids like Nash he would heal up quickly but punk is a clean wrestler and his honesty and talent is why people like CM Punk
I had to stop listening to Nash's podcast because of his complaining and Oliver's just overall douchebaggery...
Kev, you’re stronger than Punk. Happy?
It's pretty pathetic.
Kevin just has to find something to complain about for content every once in awhile
@@ifgwelfhe is obsessed with CM Punk
His point is guys get lazy when you guarantee the money. There is no sense of urgency.
CM Punk was literally defending the title an average of once every 4 days during his one-year reign.
While Big Lazy has the nerve to critique his jealousy onto him.
I'm pretty sure on average only Hogan defended the championship more frequently than Punk during his longest reign.
Kevin still mad about that promo on Monday night raw from 12 years ago. This August is funny he still mad at punk. 🤣
He should be mad at cmpunks sister she said it lol
Punk did the surgery on February. He is out for 5 months and he is close to getting fully medical cleared. During that period he made more money than 90% of the WWE roster.
I'm just surprised that Nash got through a complete sentence without stammering and drifting off to Soma land.
Punk doesnt do the "medication" that others do to accelerate healing.
"He gets pissed off because things change though." It's sad thats pretty much been the running theme of his show.
Kevin Nash once ag😂in saying something controversial to draw listeners to his podcast, he knows exactly what he is doing
Nash is just a angry liberal
Commie.
Always 1-2 losers in the replies.
@@JeffTullock-yx1hdNash makes more on his podcast in a month then you do in a year, incel. Don’t hate him because the guy actually cares about America.
Y'all are using infinitesimal incorrectly. That word refers to how small something is and you're using it to describe how big something is. You can just say infinitely. No shade, just helping out. Love the show. 7:16
Good for Nash for coming back from an injury so soon. If there’s one person who could give a shit about returning quick from injury is Punk.
Kevin , poor guy, a legend in his own mind. Couldn’t draw a dime
Dutch Mantel picked the only American sport with full guarantees. Once you sign your contract in baseball, you are good. Now in football, they can tear up their contract once the season is over. I think basketball has guarantees but it’s nothing like baseball with 10 year contracts and no salary cap.
Nash is still so bitter about punk owning him in that raw promo, And I like nash.
The issue is that he sees that 45 year old Punk is still a huge star and drawing money with a big.
Someone get Eric Bischoff's thoughts on Nash's take.
Nash was also a lot younger than punk is. Your body doesn’t heal quite as quick the older you get.
Kevin Nash definitely worked house shows in WCW - in the big markets, and he wrestled on Nitro frequently enough.
Nash and hall were making good bit of the house shows in the wcw run
Scratching my Head trying to think when Nash was ever Over,,,,,,,,,Maybe Punk's long Healing timeline is Part of the Storyline Nashy?? One Last thing.......It was Scott Hall who Started the guaranteed money,,,,Nashy Showed up after!
Nash trashed Punk here for taking time to heal but he would always giggle when Shawn Michaels would just take time off for no reason.
1) CM Punk work vs Kevin Nash work is like comparing a construction worker to an office manager. - A bit of a difference in physical demand.
2) What about that great work while hurt he did at starcade against the Giant? - oh well, that was a heart problem not a mere injury. It just cleared up in 2 weeks.
3) Nash lives for rage-gagement. He wants you to go to his channel and tell you what and idiot is. Farm the clicks for ads.
Nash came back so fast because he didn't do anything in the ring expect stand there most of the time
Punk is the definition of "They hate to see me shine"
I used to have this misconception that Kevin nash was a cool guy. All I’ve seen of him the past year are brain dead bad takes on everything.
Please remember that Kevin Nash looked into a camera for “Who Killed WCW” and while discussing the end of the promotion literally said “my paycheck didn’t change”. He comes off like he usually does on his podcast: hypocritical and full of crap.
I was happy to hear that Nash was starting a podcast. I've enjoyed a lot of the shoot interviews he's taken part in over the years. The podcast has somehow only made me dislike him though.
I think a lot of people don’t know when Nash is joking. At the same time, Punk was complaining about how guaranteed money just makes people sit around (referencing AEW). He said something like “guaranteed money ruined the business”. But here is Punk. Injured with guaranteed money, not rushing to get back to work, like Punk said a few months before he got hurt. I think Nash was kidding. But at the same time, probably Nash calling Punk a hypocrite. Which, and I’m saying this with both guys in my top 10 faves, a LOT of folks have said about Nash and Punk. 🤷♂️
His point is and it’s true everyone owes him a thanks for guaranteed money. And he wants that credit There is only one nash. He is a one of one a 7 footer who could talk he is a legend who is still relevant as a talking head.
So what does Kevin suggest Punk do? Work injured and pop a bunch of pain pills like him, his kliq buddies and the rest of the roster used to do? How well did that end up for all of them? Most of them are all dead now like his buddy Scott Hall.
All I get from this “ I don’t like the business being more safe and allowing workers time off to actually heal. Even though I was the special “kliq” that got paid in that time.”
Kevin has stated in the past when he work for W W F , When you take in consideration the expensive, In terms of the money he claim he was not making that much money. He Claim when they would have to come in the studio to do promos. He may would get fifty dollars
I mean obviously WWE are going to be more careful with Punk specifically over injuries given what happened with him at the end of his last run. As it happens here anyway they've the gotten feud with Drew massively over (in big part to Drew's work as well ofc) with him on the shelf
Nash is just upset that during the 'Summer of Punk' he was an after thought when around Punk, and Punk roasted his ass and exposed him when doing promos on each other. Seth Rollins, Drew Mcintyre, MJF and others showed they can hang with Punk, but Nash can't and has been upset about it since then.
I think he popped a hamstring talking about it
