I thought the biggest twist was just how after spending s4-6 on Mordecai's relationship mess with Margaret and CJ, the finale just had Mordecai hook up with a random bat lady we've never seen before.
I mean it sorta fits with the random bits of regular show. And it shows that he actually gets someone that he likes and loves and not being a coward or change his mind radically. But that's my opinion.

Mordecai actually questioned him once about why he makes fun of his mom. And while questioning he makes muscle man mom joke but with instead of saying "my mom" he said "your mom" which offended him and made him go berserk. I fricking love this show man

biggest plot twist: Mordecai was able to get married without more 6 years of drama
I'm sad about skips because every friend he has dies and he's immortal. It's sad and lonely. Also he still working at the park at the end.

He has Gary, Death, 4 of the 5 guardians of eternal youth, and Techmo. Quips also might be immortal as he is somehow Skip’s cousin but it’s never confirmed.

most good CN Shows start with random nonsense and the characters doing whatever. and in later seasons the plot thickens. they dont usually start off with a bunch of lore, which really makes you more invested into them

One thing I never understood about the Regular Show movie is why didn't Mordecai and Rigby apply to more than one college, especially Mordecai. They could have at least increased their chances of going to the same place together.
The college they applied for was supposedly the easiest college to get into, ever. If u couldn't get in there, u couldn't get in anywhere else
Another problem is that Rigby didn’t finished High School at all.

I'd say that the intro with the final scene kinda reveals that every time you hear that click it is Pops taking out a VHS tape and putting in a new one, that new one being the VHS tape that holds the contents of the episode we're about to watch

Rigby’s rejection letter was kinda hard to swallow but “a jolly good show” is the real tear jerker.
Finding out how much of a good boyfriend Rigby is to Eileen.
The biggest twist is how Rigby's dad went from Mr. nice guy to drunken dad after the Thanksgiving Special.

I saw the finale with my brother after we recorded the entire final season of Regular Show on our DVR. That way we could watch every episode all together.
After we saw the finale, my brother kept telling me, “they killed Pops”, and he would say it almost every time we witnessed a beloved character dying as we’re watching other shows and movies, for like an entire year.
On the one hand, I knew he was trying to make a reference that only he and I would get, but on the other hand, looking back on it now, I like to think of it as his way of telling me just how much the finale meant to him.

I think my favorite plot twist is the entire second half of Season 8. It turned from “ha ha Regular Show is in space” to “oh crap. There’s an actual overarching plot for this season, and it’s dark”
The fact that anti-pops had finally become happy and found inner-peace was such a beautiful moment
I was into Regular Show when I was like, 4-9 years old. We would always turn it on and record episodes at my grandparents' house. Regular Show, along with Adventure Time and the Phineas and Ferb movie, are just so nostalgic for me.
It's been 5 years since I've seen an episode, and I still have "Aw Snap" engraved in my memory.
The whole bit with The Seer is also a huge nod to the Matrix movies (this is gonna be a spoiler).
In "Matrix: Reloaded," Neo meets the Architect - the administrator and "physical" representation of the simulation - who has been watching Neo the entire time... from a room full of TV monitors, just like The Seer.

The hatred Rigby had for his older brother and how often that makes Rigby try and be independent and refusing help
Benson when he was having a breakdown, cause i felt really bad for him even when i was a kid and was never mad at him. That moment shows that he has nothing and that he is barely surviving, taking the park very important as thats all he has left. I am just happy benson got his life for a better turn after all the garbage he has went through, and that he is still together with the family
Anyone remember when Regular show, amazing world of gumball, and adventure time came out and everyone was saying that it was gonna be the end of cartoons because they were all "bad" but they turned out to be some of the best shows cartoon network ever
I was surprised when those animatronics actually were the ones who stole the diamonds.
I was even more surprised when they suddenly returned at that supposedly heartwarming Mordecai/Margaret ep.
I remember that when the mechatronic gangster episode was aired, FNAF was at its peak popularity, basically everyone who watches that episode talked about it endlessly during that period... Good times.
Learning that it was supposed to be an adult swim show was the greatest twist

Man I remember staying up late on a school night just to watch a episode of regular show with my brothers, it was so good. The many cameos and the reoccurring 80s retro themes, my family pretty much grew up on this show

Watching this show as a young adult hits way harder then it did when I was in elementary and middle school when you look at this show from the eyes of a young adult you can relate to a lot of the troubles the characters go through it really is amazing

I just realized how did the final battle work in the timeline where the owl froze Mordecai, Rigby, Muscle Man, and High Five Ghost for such a long time way back in the earlier seasons
Steak Me Amadeus was one of the most emotional and mature episode in Cartoon Network history, all in a very regular show fashion. I remember being 10 and crying.
It's weird to say, but Thomas reminds me a lot of Tord from Eddsworld. He's a character with horns in a series of non-sensical slice of life episodes that turns out to be someone with a more governmental secret, like how Tord turned out to be a communist leader in The End. It's just something that came to mind.
I feel like Regular show as a whole has grown to a show that you can watch time and time again and still feel the same emotions as you did first watching it. The shows plots, crazy storyline, funny moments, characters are all just so entertaining I just love Regular show.
I remember when the show first came out it was so funny and so different like one of the first ep was about Rock Paper Scissors and it was amazing, honestly the way the show progressed was great and there was actual development in the characters like rugby getting a diploma
This was and will always be my favourite childhood show
I remember getting up early to watch this show the moment the new episodes aired, I think that no other television show will have the same amount of lore or depth that I've come to love over the past few years

just finished binge watching all the episodes on hulu in like a week. It felt so good to come back to the show after years, i thoroughly enjoyed it and am sad about the ending and just finishing it again in general. One of the best shows ever if not the best

Yea I watched it at midnight so I couldn't watch the whole thing so I didn't know that he included that in the video .
Looking back at some of the twists, I noticed a few things:
1. Regular Show predicted FNAF
2. The Thomas twist episode is just showing how much Russia is wanting to be the most powerful country
3. The last episode, “A Regular Final Battle: Part Two”, the creators took the phrase: “Breaking the 4th Wall”, to a whole nother’ level.

Is the movie even officially canon? In it we’re told that Mordecai didn’t graduate, yet in the show he has his diploma.

I saw a theory video that stated that each of the episodes were in different time lines due to all the times Pops and Anti Pops collided so many times that time would reset itself. Minor changes could have occured because of it.
He dropped out of art school cuz he drew a bad picture of some girl or something like that.
Thomas’s real name was Nikolai not Nicholas, cause Nicholas was the persona he made when he went undercover at gene’s park to get the statue back from him. So I think you confused it with that one.
Upon seeing every episode of regular show my mind keeps getting blown So much that I've mind blown myself into the next dimensions this is the best show ever

This show was my childhood and I cried when it ended as most people did. The show that I've been watching since I was a kid ending was really sad but it was still a fire ending.

I feel like the last one is more of pops watching the future and past viewing everyones adventures and laughs, his friends living a life that presumably he could never see, him watching everything to remember the people that loved and cared for him
I really miss this show. I want to go through the entire series again. Still crying about pops dying at the end.
