Avatar Maker at Disney Pandora World of Avatar -Toddler Becomes a Navi Action Figure!

- Our 4 year old becomes a Na'vi Action figure with the Avatar Maker at Disney's Pandora World of Avatar!
The Avatar Maker can be found inside Windtraders in Pandora at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Look for "Sign in here" to register. Depending on the crowd, there may be a wait. However, you can reserve a time to come back. Our wait was around 2 hours.
Once the process is complete, we were asked to come back about 1.5 hours later to pick up the Avatar.
The Na'vi action figure cost $75 plus tax and there was no discount for passholders.
Options you can pic are adult or child body, male or female, clothing colors, hairstyle, eye color, and face markings.

They don't actually model it to your face (if that wasn't obvious). They just have lots of different heads pre-made. Just a way to make a lot of money.

1:57 You can actually see her choosing the pre-made face model for her before the camera appeared! It’s a cute idea for sure!! And hey, they’re in it for the magic! I’d much rather pay a lil (lol sure) more for the experience of getting the doll than going to Walmart or smth and get it off a shelf.

This is funny. My cousin use to 3D scan people's faces and then 3D print them onto those World of War craft style game characters. Use to be a good time at game shops. He used a first gen Xbox scan thingamajigger lol.

I'm going down to Florida next Friday and spending that week down there!! I've been dying to go to Pandora since I found out they were making it!! Now after finding out about this machine, I want to go even more! I'm a HUGE fan of the movie and can't wait for the second to be released next year! XxRulerxX I edited out a few minutes. As a heads up, we had to register first and come back an hour or so later. After they scan you, we were asked to return about 1.5 hours later to pick-up. Good luck!

for people who don't know, this is made for kids and to full fill their imagination so all of this is pretend. it doesn't scan your actual face becuase the machine is not a 3D printer. just like how in autotopia you don't actualy drive but let's the kids have their imagination flow and pretend that they are driving, this thing can only do enough to use their imagination to full fill their dream to become a navi even if it's not that accurate. still sucks though that it costs alot when it doesn't even look like you but kids will still be happy about it becuase they made their own custom navi that is said to be you.

what did she name her avatar? What did it look like? Remember, I am blind, and cannot see anything, besides light, dark, and shadows. what does it feel like? is she small or big? does the avatar make noise?s I meant, is the avatar that onya made, is she small or big?
Honestly, this child is too young to appreciate or remember any of this. Six months after this, that toy will be broken or abandoned and she will not remember that this trip even happened. They should have waited until she was older to take her, so that she could at least remember it. Or get a baby sitter at home, so that the parents could go on vacation by themselves, if that is what they wanted.
michele Lyons she has this video she can watch at any time 😊 Been well over 6 months and the toy is doing just fine. It stays in its case on her dresser unless she is playing with it.
$80 for something that doesn't even look like you, even though it's supposed to. Seems like it's more worth $20 than $80
