Thanks, bro. If you ever do pick one up for DVR then yeah...720p all the way. I saw another review where a guy purchased both and he was blown away by the 720p one and just "meh" about the 1000TVL one.

Solid review! Had me laughing in the beginning 🤣 that's right ladies hahaha. But they do look like some good cameras. It is a bummer about the dvr portion on this particular unit. But very good to know. I also like that battery. Wish that setup was on all my batteries for electronics.

Definitely agree about the recording. Not recording? 1000TVL is fine. Recording? 720p at a minimum.

Is the 720 with DVR got a great vidéos quality/définition for CZcams ?
I personally don’t own one (I asked for one to review) but a friend of mine has one and he said it was MUCH better.
Look for his review on his channel, he had both 1000TVL and 720p. Channel name is Old Minnow Boy.
how do u recoil the camera cable back up?
@@vvdd903 you just pull it up by hand and spin it around the spool. Then you put the Velcro on the spool.
There isn’t a handle or anything fancy like that to spin it back up so you do have to get your hands wet. But that’s why it’s a budget option.

No. Unfortunately not on this unit.

so you can see a fish a couple feet away, kind of useless versus older tech even
Unfortunately when I tested this camera it was in a marsh in VERY muddy conditions.
It’s a great camera if the water clarity is better. Not MarCum quality, but still very good.
Being able to see a bite, before you feel it, can make a huge difference.
@@TheMichiganFisherman lol i've caught thousands of fish without ever seeing them. i'm not sold on that aspect. It might be handy to use to identify what exactly odd structures are on the typical graph. I just don't see the value in $140-170 to watch a fish bite and possibly be scaring fish off dragging a camera around. Most lakes and bays are just too murky to see anything at distance. Its neat, but not practical. ice fishing i can drag my sonar in a sled and cover distance, enjoy drilling holes all over and dropping a camera lol
Who even wants to watch old vids of fish swimming around? Just use it to improve your fishing. Seems silly to save the video.
Good point. It's only important to me because of the CZcams aspect and the fact that I want to create content with it.
If I didn't do CZcams, I DEFINITELY would not spend the extra money on the recording feature.
