I love rolling pins or anything kitchen utensil items that can be upcycled into decor. They are definitely one of the items that I look for when I go into a thrift store.
Thank you so much!! I wish I had some of my grandmothers rolling pins...what a treasure for you! In my next video, if I ever finish editing it 🙄, I included a couple more rolling pin updates. Appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment!
Thanks for sharing your ideas. 😘 My fav rolling pin was the IOD transfer. The IODmolds looked great, but that was more work than I feel I want to do. 😂
Loved your video! I have about 90 rolling pins and have begun painting them and decorating them. I think transfers by far are the easiest to work with and there are such pretty ones out there. I love to stamp and heat emboss also. I have a few IOD moulds and after seeing how yours turned out, can’t wait to use them! Thank you!
Thank you Tracy!! Wow! 90 rolling pins....how do you display them? I'm trying to find a good way to display mine once I get them decorated. I've never done heat embossing, I'll have to try it! The molds are fun to do...they add so much! Would love to see how yours turn out!! Thanks again!
@@lifestyleofadiyer I have some in baskets and then I have some in the process of being decorated. I have a vision of a rack but it may never come to fruition because I am not much of a wood worker. 😊. Thank you again for the video!
Thank you so much! They are fun to do and a little addicting! I just did a short with a Christmas rolling pin that I thought turned out super cute… of course I’m bias😉
I stumbled upon your video and enjoyed the content. Definitely going to subscribe. They all turned out beautiful! I myself collect Rolling pins. The piece you used for the display looks like a musical instrument wall decor.
Thank you Sabricia! So happy you found my channel...and appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment😊. I agree it does look like a musical instrument, it's larger than a Violin so maybe a Viola...whatever it is, I love that piece!! Thanks again!!
You are just too sweet! At some point my goal is to put these items on my website because my craft room has turned into a craft house. But I would LOVE to gift it to you!. Are you referring to the blue flower rolling pin with the mould flowers?
Lol!! I would love for you to have it...Just email me your address at lifestyleofadiyer@gmail.com and I'll get it in the mail to you! You made my whole day! Thanks so much!!
@@lifestyleofadiyer wow that is so generous of you. You definitely need to do some craft fairs. If you're in the Phoenix area we should get together. I've met some amazing new friends doing craft fairs
Just a little hint about the music. I see unfortunately too many CZcamsrs not understanding how to use the music in a way that enhances their video but rather distracts. When you use music make sure that it is very soft in the background and that it's not a repeating Melody or song. It becomes very annoying and distracting to your audience. There are some videos I just can't even watch because of that. Yes I could turn off the sound but then I wouldn't hear the instructions.
I have a basket full of rolling pins just because i think they are so cool so this will really up my rolling pin game!! Thankyou
You are so welcome! I do too! I just can't pass up a rolling pin. I probably have enough to do another video and then some :-)

Oh me too! And I have recently found some great old colanders and sifters! Kitchen decor is my weakness
I have rolling pins from my grandmother. I have just started the process of upscaling. I watched both of your videos. I love your work.

Thanks for the tip on prepping the stamp before first using.
You are so welcome!

Lol! It was some work....I couldn't believe how many molds I had to make fill that rolling pin up!

Lol 😆 chip brushes can be a pain if the bristles come out.
What type of hemp oil do you like to use? I'm so excited to try some of these!!! Thankyou kindly for sharing. 💙
I use Sweet Pickins All Natural Hemp Oil
Why didn't you use a white ink on the dark background or paint the rolling pin a lighter color
That is such a good idea!! I can't pass up a rolling pin and I'll do it on the next video! Thank you!!
I would love to purchase the flower rolling pin!!! Would you consider selling it?
