You sweet lady, I so enjoy hearing you talk. I love how you’ve said many times that God gives us what we need. So with. This basil, are you cutting all the plant? The flowers also? I’ve just spent the longest time picking off each silly leaf.
This yer i grew tulsi and for a while I was wondering if it would ever take off? And take off it did…today I’m harvesting just one of the plants and it fills half of a 4x6 raised bed…it has been harvested at least four times this year but it’s racing me to see if it can keep putting out seed heads…the rest in the garden will go to the bees and butterflies…as an Adaptionen it’s totally amazing for us…and OMG THE SMELL… SWEET HEAVEN …THANKS FOR SHARING STAY BLESSED AS ALWAYS…
I like to use it also in stir fry and my absolute favorite is putting it in the dumplings when I make chicken and dumplings. That rocks on a cold winter day. It is an awesome adaptogen.

They are of the same family but different in the appearance, taste and uses. Italian basil is a more popular basil in Mediterranean cooking, where as Holy basil more popular in Asian cuisine. They look and smell very differently.

Thanks.
I cut whole branches. I use leaves, stems and flowers. Usually I save flowers for seeds
Thank you! I grew this last summer but had no idea how to preserve!
Tulsi is good in tea and tincture
can't wait for your teas video....thank you for this video...
Glad you watched it! I will definitely do a herbal tea video

Amazing! So good!!!
You're an excellent teacher, so knowledgeable and explain everything so understandable. Thank you!
Thank you! I try 😉
I would LOVE ❤️ to learn how you make your teas!
Hi Loana, I will make a video about it. On a rainy day, when I can't work in the garden I will sit down with my herbal books and show my teas.
I like to use it also in stir fry and my absolute favorite is putting it in the dumplings when I make chicken and dumplings. That rocks on a cold winter day. It is an awesome adaptogen.
Oh yes, great in cooking as well!!!
Great video, loved all the herbs you are drying. The smell from one does not transfer to any of the others? What a wonderful dehydrator!
Thanks, perhaps the more fragrant like mint dominates a little, but I don't mind. Often many herbs are mixed together anyways.
Just the video I was looking for. Thank you!
You are welcome!
I’m going to check if you ever did a tea making video :)
Making tea is a ritual. My мама made it in a small tea pot. I should make a video.
