When will there be in-camera processing of: - Timelapse - High resolution mode/pixel shift - De-squeezed view of anamorphic Is there really no SSD drive as storage medium via the USB-C port in the firmware pipeline?
Fuji has the most beautiful colors and incredible film-like images. If they came out with their own Anamorphic Lenses that fit X-Mount, at a reasonable price, they would probably sell a lot. Sirui has some good ones, but no 35mm for X-Type cameras. Also, the lens flares aren't even why I like Anamorphic, it's more so the depth of field and separation of the subject and background, as well as the lovely oval shaped bokeh. Lastly, please add the de-squeeze in-camera, it would be a gamechanger too.
If you want to be competitive vs Panasonic and Sony, you have to include a bunch of tools for video makers. I’m still confused on why you didn’t do it already, considering it’s pretty much just software/firmware. The other companies already hold an advantage because of full frame, but you could strike back with a brutal firmware update for X-trans 4 and 5 and give us all these tools for videography. I don’t buy the fact that the processor can’t handle that. You could wipe out the competition by doing that. P.S. In case you already did that I apologise. I own a XT3, so I might not be aware of what is going on with the new and/or most expensive camera models. That being said I do plan to upgrade in the near future.

Even more baffling is how is this advertised as a video camera but there is no waveform etc ??? This is such simple stuff it looks like it's on purpose.
I'll never understand why Fujifilm doesn't give us the ability to use different aspect ratios directly from the camera itself... I think we should get a firmware update for that.
Awesome! I don’t understand if h2s need an adaptive ring for mount the atlas Orion lenses, and in this case, will the lenses lost a stop of light? Thanks for helping
One more vote for internal anamorphic desqueeze and IBIS, would love to use my Atlas lenses with this camera and save some steps in post!
9 months since this video came out, yet still no in-camera de-squeeze.
possibly the new GFX 100 II has desqueeze so maybe its coming
Open Gate recording is a good first step, but we need support for IBIS with anamorphics and an in-camera anamorphic de-squeeze mode

A video to understand fuji X-H2s autofocus for video would be awesome as it is really needed !❤
If I could buy or lend a anamorphic lens for filming I would also buy a Alexa Mini LF and not the X-H2s 😅
