This is a great tutorial but my image has much more of a pattern and this doesn't seem to be working because of that. Do you edit for people? I have just one photo that needs the background extended. If so what do you charge?
Hi Lisa. Good question. If your image has a non-uniform background, i.e. lots of unique visual content, then you may need to look at an alternative method or performing a composite -using background substitution. It really depends on the individual image and i'd be curious to see what you are working with. Yes, I do offer image retouching for select clients. Feel free to send your image over (using weTransfer for example) and I will take a look.
