    Prince "U Got The Look". The beat is fire, Sheila E's percussion playing is on point, and the stage set up is crazy. This song might just be enough to get you up outta your chair 👏🏽

    PRINCE is in a class all by himself. GENIUS 💯 No can even come close. FUN FACTS: Jack, Prince played AT LEAST twenty seven (27) instruments 😊 On his debut album he played ALL the instruments 😊 He wrote the third best selling single of 1990 "Nothing Compares 2 U " song by Sinead O'Connor. great reaction 🤗

    Jack I’m loving your Prince reactions, please keep them coming! I fell in love with Prince when I was 11 back in 1984 and it’s pure joy to see a young guy really appreciate what Prince was about: great musicianship, performance, songwriting and those solos! There’s so much I want to share with you. If you have half an hour or so, check out the New Years Eve Sign O’ The Times concert, from about 1hr 38. It shows how great he was at controlling his band and jamming on a groove. Mind blowing! By all means watch the whole show but that last jam is something else. Peace ☮️

    THANK YOU!!! How am I late with seeing this, I been saying more Prince forever! And you went on & did it! And this is 1 of my favorite songs. Like I said when you 1st did him, Prince is a favorite of yours that you don't even realize yet man, you're gonna love so much of his stuff. Some songs I really think you'll love but are also my favorites from him are
    1. The Beautiful Ones (Mariah covered the song with Dru Hill & I recommend that one too, it's not 1 of my favorite MC tracks, but she does a good job & makes the song a bit more R&B)
    2. Diamonds & Pearls (1 of his best songs EVER)
    3. Kiss
    4. Theives In The Temple (extended version)
    5. Partyman (where he's the Joker because he did the entire soundtrack to the 1989 Batman movie, Jack Nicholson is a HUGE Prince fan and personally asked him to do that soundtrack)
    6. Scandalous (this song is so sexy, & this falsetto, it's gonna give you Maxwell vibes years before anyone knew who Maxwell was)
    7. Get Off This song is incredible, it almost reminds me of like Janet's "If"

      I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M SEEING THIS OVER THREE AND A HALF YEARS LATE but I gotta say your help to introduce this brother (who’ve I’ve just discovered called Jack) to (THE ONE AND ONLY PRINCE) was (PERFECT) MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👊🏽👌🏽
      (MY OWN YOUNGER BROTHER AND I LOVE OUR BROTHER PRINCE) and grew up listening to his music on the radio since 1978 but it wasn’t until years after that when we became (SERIOUS FANS) (or “FRIENDS” as Prince loved to call the people who love him and his music) until the (SUMMER OF 1993) after watching and studying this guy (FOR OVER A DECADE) when we realised (THIS MAN IS ON SOME OTHER PSYCHEDELIC LEVELS WITH THE QUALITY OF SONGS HE PRODUCES) along with the fact that he’s a (MULTI TALENTED GENIUS) that can (WRITE INCREDIBLE LYRICS, PLAY MULTIPLE INSTRUMENTS AFTER SELF TEACHING HIMSELF TO DO SO, DESIGN AND CREATE HIS OWN STYLE OF FASHION BECOMING A FASHION ICON BECAUSE OF IT, SING TREMENDOUSLY AND COMFORTABLY AT DIFFERENT OCTAVES, RAP INCREDIBLY, DANCE SUPREMELY, ACT SUPERBLY (AND) ELECTRONICALLY PRODUCE MUSIC AT ANY RECORDING DESK IN ANY STUDIO OF THE ENTIRE WORLD WHICH WAS SOMETHING HE COULD (ALL) DO FROM WHEN HE WAS JUST FOURTEEN YEARS OLD!!!!!!!!!!
      HE WAS ALSO LOVED BY WOMEN WORLDWIDE, HAD MANY BEAUTIFUL GIRLFRIENDS AND ON TOP OF IT ALL WAS KNOWN TO BE SURROUNDED BY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN IN THE ENTIRE WORLD AS WELL TOO SO WITH US KNOWING ALL OF THAT JUST LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON HE BECAME ANOTHER EARTHLY GOD TO US BRO!!!!!!!!!!
      MY BROTHER AND I WERE (NATURALLY) AND GREW UP TO BE (VERY MASCULINE) BOYS AND THEN YOUNG MEN but (EVEN WE) started dressing in a more feminine/masculine hybrid style (created by ourselves) from clothes we bought, redesigned or made from scratch and then started styling out our hair by growing it long and relaxing it, putting wet look hair gel, holder gel and finger waves in our hair, wearing make up like eyeliner and foundation which was also inspired by the look of (OUR OTHER LEGENDARY BROTHER THE GREATEST AND THE ONE AND ONLY MR MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON WHO WE LOVED AND (STILL) LOVE JUST LIKE PRINCE TO THIS DAY AND WILL DO FOREVER MORE TOO!!!!)
      The inspiration that these two (GIANT GENIUSES) gave us both was strong enough that it even inspired us to start writing our own songs and even inspired us to create our own personalised poetry as well too!!!!….
      And as a result from exercising our creative mindsets like that it encouraged us to become a musical group from 1993 to 2003 wearing Fedoras like Michael Jackson as a part of our style as we eventually started playing gigs in Central London which included Leicester Square (WHERE WE ALSO RAVED IN DIFFERENT NIGHTCLUBS AS WELL TOO) between January 1996 and December 2016!!!!
      We were known for our Michael Jackson/Prince/our own originally created and choreographed dance moves on the dance floor of various night clubs in and around Central London in the United Kingdom encouraging people to come to certain nightclubs because we were there and were getting quite famous in the nightclub scene in Central London as clubs were making money if it was heard that we were there or were gonna be there which included Celebrity Clubs where known actors, actresses, singers, experienced dancers of the stage, television and movie screens which also includes supermodels and reality stars from television regularly frequented there whilst we made friends with even some of them as well too!!!!… GOOD TIMES!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY DAYS AND POSITIVE NIGHTS!!!!!!!!!! 🌞✨
      We both have Michael Jackson and Prince to thank wholeheartedly for inspiring us enough to make our lives better for ourselves as well as for making the lives better for other people too famous and non-famous who enjoyed watching and dancing with us as we (ENJOYED) (ALL) of the (ATTENTION) (WE GOT TOO) (ESPECIALLY WHEN IT CAME TO THE WOMEN!!!!!!!!) 👱🏻‍♀️👩🏻‍🦱👩🏽💃🏻😍😛😏😉😂🤭

  • @RastaSaiyaman
    @RastaSaiyaman Před 4 lety +2

    Here's a few pointers on that video:
    - First of all, it was the intention for the band and the extras to appear as how they looked on the cover of the album "Around the world in a day"
    img.discogs.com/XPuEg60meFRwnwUY7dMOGRtJT_E=/fit-in/600x572/filters:strip_icc():format(jpeg):mode_rgb():quality(90)/discogs-images/R-778234-1169291900.jpeg.jpg
    From left to right: Lisa Coleman (Keyboards) Brown Mark (Bass), Prince, Wendy Melvoin (guitar), Bobby Z (drums) and Doctor (Keyboards) You can easily make all of them out in the video.
    - But as that cover shows and as the animated part of the video shows, Prince had every intention go go full platinum blonde. But the dying process was such a disaster that Prince had it all cut off and wore a wig for the video. The follow up Music video for "America" (which I urge you to react to because it shows Prince and the revolution at their VERY BEST) shows Prince with a VERY short do which was a direct result.
    - The famous white Cloud guitar that Prince is seen playing here got its name from the cloud suit he was wearing here.
    AND
    - There's a punk rock legend in this video, the guy in the white robes sitting in front of the piano is none other than Nirvana and Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear.

    Off camera check him out. I know you'll worship the man afterwards. Yes he was quite uniquely gifted. His vocals were divine. He had taught himself to play 20 different instruments by age 19 and ultimately an additional 8. He dabbled in about any genre of music masterfully. Listen to Bambi which he did in early 80s if you're interested.

    From the 80's, check out these songs that he released chronologically after this one:
    * Kiss
    * Mountains
    * Sign 'O' The Times
    * I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man
    * If I Was Your Girlfriend
    * Alphabet St
    If you go backwards:
    * Let's Go Crazy
    * Little Red Corvette
    * Controversy
    * Uptown
    * I Wanna Be your Lover
    Prince is not a man, he's an experience. I got hooked on him in the mid-80's, and have been a fan since. He was an incredible musician, composer, and performer. Of course, he continued making great music after the 80's, but since you're exploring that era, I hope my list is a good guide.

    You got to react to “if I was your girlfriend” by TLC. The song was originally done by Prince, and you give his version a listen too. They both do different things to the feel of that song. Great reaction!!!
