I pluck my daughters eyebrows and she's 9. She asked me to and I would rather do them instead of her trying to do them herself. I don't pluck them like how I do my brows I just pluck the extra hair in the middle and she does not have them arched.
9 is understandable. If that's what she wanted it's alright but at 4 she doesn't know anything. Farrah is literally pushing her insecurities on to her kid.
This is the first step....to when it all falls downs....you had to say no and tell her she is perfect the way she is...next...o mommy i want a new nose??? what ya gonna say?????????

That's why we have parent's to say "No" when we trying to cross the line in young age...it's call responsibility.
katya She's 4. Most children that age aren't even aware of these things. Usually self consciousness doesn't develop till puberty, so it was just unnecessary to do that. And she was sleeping, so she really didn't have a say.
I don't know I'm Russian and I'm super freaking hair my mom would tweeze my unibrow all the time when I was a kid. It didn't effect me at all. My mother is an angel so I guess I don't see it as a big deal. Although I think she is a shitty mother for alot of other reasons.
Honestly if my daughter had a unibrow I would wax it too. It would not mean I didn't think she was still beautiful, it would be because I would want to save her from the emotional pain of being bullied or teased because of it. That does more harm in the end.
Frida Kahlo had an amazing unibrow and was absolutely beautiful, striking in fact! Besides, who wants to blend in when you can stand out and be different or unique? Humans come in so many variations and those variations should be celebrated yet everyone wants to be a clone these days, it's so sad.
my daughter is 9 and I do pluck her unibrow. she has even asked to shave her arms and legs because kids make fun of her but I don't think she's quite ready for that yet. I just let her know no matter what looks are not important it's how kind and sweet of a person you are.
one side of me feels bad for Farrah having to sit there and have everyone judge you must be hard.. but then the other side of me shakes my head at her. Why would you wax your FOUR year olds eyebrows? That's just insane and makes no sense. I would never do that if I had a child. She's definitely making a lot of stupid decisions and mistakes.
Caitlyn Rocke The fact was she's four. I had a unibrow up until I was like 10, and I chose to get mine waxed. No one ever mentioned it to me, I just chose to. That girl didn't have a choice, and 4 is just too young to be worrying about those things in my opinion.
Who cares if she plucks her daughters eyebrows? What about the moms who spray tan their daughters, wax their eyebrows, make them get acrylic nails for stupid beauty pageants? Sophia obviously likes to play with makeup (as seen on some episodes getting her nails done and what not) It's no different than a mom wanted to cut her daughters hair, or sons hair. She's 4... Ok? Plucking eyebrows is not a big deal like everyone makes it seem. When I was 5, a girl at my school had who was also 5 had a unibrow and kids teased her. YES! Some kids are bullies at that age. Have any of you ever thought that maybe she was protecting little Sophia from possibly being teased? No one would let her finish explaining. Not each parent is perfect.
the spray tan will wash off eventually, you can soak the nails in soapy water and they'll come off, if you pluck a young child's eyebrows it's possible the hair there won't grow back.
nikkinicole901 You are right about that! I have a two year old who like his father and myself has bushy brows on the ends but I'm not plucking or grooming his eyebrows. When he gets older, if HE wants to groom them I have no issues helping him do so, but till he decides they are staying the way they are, because he's handsome just the way he is. If I had a daughter, I'd be doing what my mom did and that was keeping me from makeup till 6th grade. II wasn't even allowed near tweezers till then! Most normal kids don't start plucking or waxing or spray tanning till junior high, not when they're little. Most of those parents who are on Toddlers and Tiaras and such are making their young kids think you have to look this way to be pretty, when they should be teaching your kid that no matter what, they'll always be beautiful just the way they are. That's part of the reason why girls have so many insecurities about themselves.
Also, if there is a four year old bullying Sophia, shouldn't Farrah and the parents of that bully be having a sit down? Farrah said it herself on this same episode in a different clip that Sophia is intelligent enough to communicate exactly what she wants. Also, THERE WAS NO BULLY YOU IDIOT. If you watched anymore from this show, you'd hear Farrah straight up admit that it was her family and friends saying Sophia had the unibrow, no bullies!
I think it's totally fine that she plucked her eyebrows because let's be honest kids do tease but had she not broadcasted it across the Internet no one would have ever known.
For Sophia's sake, she needs to be taken away from her! When is enough ENOUGH! I always knew Sophia would become her mother, and it's apparent she is! Poor child!
Farrah is right. I had crazy eyebrows until I was about 16 and my mom would tell me I look sooo pretty. I mean I was pretty, but my eyebrows were horrible. It definitely took away from my prettiness haha. I now wanna burn every picture up to that age basically because they look horrible. She would have done me a favour by letting me groom them God dammit, but she didn't even let me because she told me they would grow back thicker haha. Like..I know moms think their kids are beautiful even with shit on their faces, but the kids themselves MIGHT NOT. And most definitely, growing up in today's world, they will come to hate their crazy eyebrows even if their mother doesn't say anything bad about it. Crazy, ugly eyebrows are not something that cannot be changed or that takes a HUGE effort to change...so you don't need to get me used to having them a certain way my whole life. Dammit. Some mothers are irrational. I would agree that it is out this world, if Farrah told her daughter anything bad about her body shape, but with the eyebrows thing, I agree.
+Sorryscene yeah, i agree, but not at 4 years old. i mean.... nobody is really happy and satisfy with the way they looked at a young age. i mean... i look at photos of myself at 3years old , and my outfit is awful. and missing teeth on some other picture... and things like that. Even when i looked at me at 15 im not happy XD my hair was discusting, i was like an emo kid too shy and too prude and everything. and maybe when i will be 35, i will look at pictures now (im 22) and would say "omg what am i wearing" or "omg look at my hear...". Farrah's daughter is 4 years old! if i had a daughter and she would asked me if she could wax her eyebrows, if she's like 12 i would say yes. but not before that, because i dont think a 4-5-6 years old really cares or know what a unibrow is.
Mymii Berard What is the cut-off for you? I got metal rods pierced through my earlobes when I was just a 1 year old, and no one batted an eye about that. But removing a patch of hair between the eyebrows at 4 is a huge no-no. These arbitrary cultural norms are just ridiculous to me lmao.
I think it's fine that she plucked her unibrow.. who wants a unibrow anyway? I don't see one woman sitting in the audience with a unibrow so what's the big deal lol.
blehh853 a 4 year old little girl doesn't want a unibrow either. She will look back at pictures of herself and WISH her mother had done something about it. It's literally the SAME thing as getting your child a haircut. The SAME THING. Every 4 year old gets their hair cut. Getting rid of hair you don't want. It's not like she's shaping and filling in brows. She's getting rid of hair in the middle that shouldn't be there.
sarah jessie-ann right! Like I don't even like Farrah but attacking her for some this petty is stupid. People need to get lives and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing
When I was younger I had a bit of a uni brow & I wasn't allowed to do anything about it until I was 13 & I got them waxed & I hated it. Fast-forward to today & my eyebrow game is STRONG. No point in this comment I just wanted to say how great my eyebrows are & if someone picking on you for something wait until the tables are turned because when I was younger & I got picked on for my mixed hair by all the girls that had perms I wanted straight hair but now half the girls have milk dud looking heads so it all works out in the end.
She's not a bad person, just misguided. She isn't a bad mother, because she truly believes she's doing what's best for her daughter it's just unfortunate that she thinks that plucking and twisting your body/ face is how one "becomes" beautiful. Hopefully her daughter learns differently.
eventually, farah's daughter will grow up to pluck ur eyebrowa... why not start early? we all complain about bullying and is rather farah's pluck her daughters eyebrows and experience short term stress and discomfort than long term psychological trauma due to bullying.... and dont fucking come to me about potenntially long term self esteem issues through plucking bevause thats just stupid
This is the downside of being a reality personality, you open your life to the public, you automatically open yourself up to positive and negative feedback
If Sophia realized she had a uni brow and it bothered her, if she wanted it gone that's okay. I was in middle school and 12 and my mom wouldn't let me shave my legs and I have dark hair😒. I felt horrified and had to wear pants all the time to avoid looking like a hairy ape. I think we should save our kids the pain of being picked on and help them with small things like this. Kids are jerks sometimes...
shouldn't pluck a toddlers brows because that unibrow could go away she still growing but Jesus fucking Christ its not like she gave her botox or something major...
I give my 6 year old quarters to let me take care of her unibrow. She happily complies. My 5 year old son, i wait until he is asleep also. I think it does a person and a child well, to be well groomed.
Bethenny asked if she’s ok.. clearly from body language 101 she’s NOT!!! LMAO. If my daughter or son CAME TO ME and said unibrow was bothering them, I then would consider fixing the issue. Farrah has self esteem issues. She’s always is saying she’s a great mom. And the perfect package. You actually have to believe what your saying is true....
When I was growing up girls didn’t shave their legs until their teens. I had 25 surgeries on both of my legs with my legs totally shaved before each surgery. By the time I was eight-9 or 10 surgeries by then- the hair had grown back thicker each time on my legs. I mean I had hairy legs. I went to my mom stuck out a leg and said I want to shave my legs. My mom said she understood and taught me how to shave them. I see no difference in removing a unibrow from your daughter than letting your daughter shave her legs at such a young age. It’s hair.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL omfgggg she takes everything so personal!!! If you're gonna do shit like that, expect people to judge!! She needs to take a step back and RELAX.
I have a 1 yr old baby boy he already has a unibrow I think my baby is the cutest lol💕 but yes if he tells me one day that he doesn’t like it and he’s getting picked on, if he wants to remove it I will allow it. I had a unibrow growing up so I wish my mom would’ve done something about it.
It's not about having a beautiful body but a beautiful heart. That's the best beautiful ever, the one that a lot of people don't see,the one that lies within your heart and personality.
Wow I don’t believe how many moms are praising Farrah for waxing her little girls eyebrows like seriously? I had a unibrow in middle school and not once didn’t my mom make me feel bad about myself or my Italian heritage my dad is 100 percent Italian and he would make me feel like the most beautiful girl In the world! I also think money has a lot to do with it! My dad was very poor growing up but even so Is the most wonderful man along with my brothers!! My husband and I do well for ourselves but fame and fortune doesn’t matter to us at all!!
farrah needs to have her child taken away. seriously who does that? shes too young! she has no say in wether she wants her eyebrows groomed or not. wow
If my child has a unibrow, I am grooming them. I don't see how that is much different from combing your child's hair. You can use an eyebrow razor and they won't feel any pain, you dont even have to make them into a shape. And just because you groom your childs eyebrows doesnt mean you are also telling them they are ugly. I dont think the lady should have been so dramatic and mean about it
I plucked my messy looking brows at 15. Ears pierced as a pree teen girl. Not a toddler who could barely speak yet. High lites also at 15. Make up at 13. Just gloss and mascara, nothing heavy. Did all those things coz I wanted to. For myself. Not coz my "mom" thought it would make me look "better." Ya'll disgusting for making toddlers look how you think they should look. Worry about what YOU look like ffs. Let babies be babies.
Plucking eyebrows is essentially harmless. But a 4 year old? Really? Her daughter should decide when she's older what she wants to do with her eyebrows. She's already molding her daughter into society's "perfect" girl.
Also she looks like she hears and feels a lot of negativity all day everyday .. Like she can't even escape it anymore and that is really sad and instead of ganging up on someone that is crying out trying to defend herself all the time and getting angry how about we all love one another because that's why we were put on this planet . not to poke and make fun of someone who's obviously struggling .. She is only human .. And she is a woman . all of the negative comments are extremely disheartening and are truthfully useless and a waste of time to even think negative thoughts like that in your mind and then try to hurt someone else with them is just so heart breaking .
I agree with Farrah on this one, people are too mean to Farrar, she made a mistake who hasn't ever screwed up, and wish they could go back? Give her a break!!!!!
There is nothing wrong with a mother grooming her daughters eyebrows! If her daughter had something against it she should stop doing it. My mother took me to get my arms waxed when I was very young, because they made me feel uncomfortable, and I am so happy that she did! (ps I come from a family/background with a lot of hair)
Ive had unibrow, and my mom wouldnt let me tpuch even a hair strain before the age pf 15... i would always bicker and fight with her since thr age of 12.. now that im 24 im glad she wasnt like this. Now i, not saying u shouldnt wax och pluck ur brows before 15, if i have a daughter and she wants to pluck her brows ill let her when she turns 12... but cmoooon 4 years???? really?
Does anyone feel like in these days we are bringing out the sexuality in children way to young? Even plucking eye brows at for ,sharing her legs young, etc.my own opinion is that by doing this we are making them fell to grown way to quick and where does it stop?
Everyone is so quick to attack her and jump the hate band wagon...that woman didnt even give her a chance to fully explain. As a mother im sure her first instinct was to protect her child from being bullied..and its a common thing in women, i dont know one woman that doesnt pluck her eyebrows. yes, her daughter is only 4..but for those of you that dont have kids, a four year old..depending on the personality..can be very outspoken and independent. We dont know if her daughter wanted it...
people acting like she killed her daughter like who cares it's only eyebrows!!! they won't be like that forever, that's her child and she pays the bills, she feeds her child, she bath her child. no one pushed that baby out but her so mind ya business.
She will never see ANYONE as beautiful as she is in HER OWN EYES. Although she isn't beautiful even with her numerous plastic surgeries. She wasnt worried about her little girl being embarrassed. She is NOT GOING TO BE EMBARRASSED BY HER DAUGHTER'S "FLAWS" AS SHE SEES THEM. This woman is a RAVING LUNATIC.
If I had a daughter with a major uninformed I would wax it too. Kids are mean and would make fun of a child with a unibrow. This world is way too sensitive.
People are saying that mothers should help their daughters with their appereance. I agree with that, and I'm glad my mother helped me. But when I was a teenager, not a fucking FOUR YEAR OLD
My cousin had a a mustache I believe at 6 or 8. She told my aunt all the girls at school didn't have that hair. My aunt let my grandmother who is an esthetician wax the hair off. Now my cousin gets it regularly and she looks fine. If she's happy that's all that matters.
As long as she's not reinforcing negative body images in her daughter, and doesn't do it when she's older (though judging exclusively by appearances she looks like she takes a bit too much care over what she herself looks like) she can do what she likes. Everyone needs to grow up and stop butting their noses in.
+lolipopPrincess I would say depends on the situation. Are we just combing and styling or are we bringing out the hot rollers and hair dryers? Lol, I'm not trying to sound like a dick but I'm just trying to understand where you're coming from. I would imagine a 4 year old doesn't have as much tolerance for pain as a teenager. I barely fix my eyebrows but I went to get them done years ago and it was uncomfortable. Perhaps that's just me. It's fine to want to fix yourself but she's just a kid. I wouldn't have a problem if her daughter came to her and asked for it herself but I'm getting the impression that Farrah has an issue with her daughters "look."
Oh sorry I didn't think of it as tweezing.. I only ever use one of those mini power shavers on mine which is totally painless! I didn't even thinking of that. I suppose I meant as long as it's painless then it's fine! But yeah don't agree with torturing your child hours on end just for beauty! I don't even agree with them getting their ears pierced! My bad!
Um, no offense but at the end of the day it's her child and if she doesn't want her daughter to suffer through having facial hair that's up to her and the child can disagree or agree with it later on in life. It's not our place to criticize the way anyone raises their kids as long as it is not abusive. This isn't abusive. My mom plucked my uni-brow growing up and thanks to her I don't have one haha. I am actually very thankful and I'm a boy! not a girl!
the only thing I could look at was her lips. I mean omg. But really, she's like so sympathetic for these girls who have... unibrows? You live in a first world country darling. there are things you should be more worried about.
She is way too defensive, not easy to talk to. But plucking eyebrow is nothing wrong... it is not like she is telling her daughter she is ugly and needs to pluck. She does it in her sleep, and the daughter will not notice when she wakes up. It is just like when my mum would put oil in my hair as a kid to ensure my hair is healthy and beautiful.
I honestly rather have a woman treat me nice than looking nice because looks fade away and personality is permanent.See my profile pic right there. When I was little I was light skinned and had a lot of curls in my hair.I wouldn't wanna trim my daughter's eyebrows if she was a few years old. A lot of people talk about surgery and 9 x outta 10 the results are what you least expect.
Her daughter is FOUR. Four year old children do not even notice whether or not they have a unibrow. If her daughter were 9 or 10, it'd be different. What is Farrah going to do next, shave Sophia's legs? She might as well.
"OH MY GOD, i can be just as dramatic, as someone who's...older than me right now"
She's so fucking stupid.
I had a unibrow and I seriously wish my mom would have done something lol.
while you were sleeping? :(
When you were four??

I don't know I'm Russian and I'm super freaking hair my mom would tweeze my unibrow all the time when I was a kid. It didn't effect me at all. My mother is an angel so I guess I don't see it as a big deal. Although I think she is a shitty mother for alot of other reasons.
I agree not a big deal at all
Honestly if my daughter had a unibrow I would wax it too. It would not mean I didn't think she was still beautiful, it would be because I would want to save her from the emotional pain of being bullied or teased because of it. That does more harm in the end.
mwright166 no different then getting your child a hair cut lol
At 4 years old though?
mwright166 uh it is YOUR responsibility to teach your kid that she is beautiful and not let anyone tell her different
blehh853 Threading hurts too.... ugh
Frida Kahlo had an amazing unibrow and was absolutely beautiful, striking in fact! Besides, who wants to blend in when you can stand out and be different or unique? Humans come in so many variations and those variations should be celebrated yet everyone wants to be a clone these days, it's so sad.
LOL! I love the lady in the audience!
my daughter is 9 and I do pluck her unibrow. she has even asked to shave her arms and legs because kids make fun of her but I don't think she's quite ready for that yet.
*****
EXACTLY! She needs to get a realy job, and stop being such an attention W****
kids can get bullied in school for that,so i feel her on that one who cares if she plucks her daughter eyebrows
Caitlyn Rocke I agree, but she shouldn't have done it while she was asleep. Only problem I have with it!
Not each parent is perfect.
the spray tan will wash off eventually, you can soak the nails in soapy water and they'll come off, if you pluck a young child's eyebrows it's possible the hair there won't grow back.
karlouise :-)
Who cares if the hair doesn't grow back? She just plucked off her unibrow.
MangoFlavoredCarter they are all bad moms.
nikkinicole901 You are right about that!
Farrah is right I had a unibrow as a kid and I totally wish my mom would've helped me
I think it's totally fine that she plucked her eyebrows because let's be honest kids do tease but had she not broadcasted it across the Internet no one would have ever known.
i really like how even though bethenny did not agree with her guest she was still respectful of her feelings.
Lol how was she respectful when she let the audience judge and berate her?
What 4 year old cares about their eyebrows?
Bethenny is kind of nosy tbh
Maddie D. BITCH it's a talk show how TF u guna say bethenny is being nosey😂😂
I think it's fine that she plucked her unibrow.. who wants a unibrow anyway? I don't see one woman sitting in the audience with a unibrow so what's the big deal lol.
SARAH JESSIE-ANN right on, people enjoy putting people down for the pettiest things 😂
you're a dumbass
blehh853 a 4 year old little girl doesn't want a unibrow either.
SO U ARE JUST LIKE HER if u think this way!!! THE CHILD WAS 4 YEARS OLD???!!!!!!! Hello??? earth to common sence!!!
sarah jessie-ann right!
You are beautiful! Just sayin.
the only person that had a problem with the 4 year old eyebrows...was her mother.
YOU GO GIRL!
My daughter had an awful unibrow and she asked me when she started coming home with kids picking on her at 4 or 5 to do something with them...
she looks like daffy duck with those bloody lips
wow they just ganged up on her
Yea and this time she's not taking it in an orifice either
this is the day and age where BROWS MATTER. i would've done the same....
But not on a toddler
+Natalie Neighh yeah not on a child
+Natalie Neighh society. its just hair
+Valeria Alvidrez you have a child?
+Valeria Alvidrez some people feel like it's ridiculous to pierce a childs ear....that hurts wayy worse then shaving a patch of hair. js.
She's not a bad person, just misguided. She isn't a bad mother, because she truly believes she's doing what's best for her daughter it's just unfortunate that she thinks that plucking and twisting your body/ face is how one "becomes" beautiful. Hopefully her daughter learns differently.
Farrah got OFFENDED and lashed out...how unusual🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love how she totally avoided answering the question.
even though I don't like farrah I respect Bethenny for not letting them attack her with questions... makes her seem more classy
Shane and friends, anyone?
eventually, farah's daughter will grow up to pluck ur eyebrowa... why not start early? we all complain about bullying and is rather farah's pluck her daughters eyebrows and experience short term stress and discomfort than long term psychological trauma due to bullying.... and dont fucking come to me about potenntially long term self esteem issues through plucking bevause thats just stupid
I love how people call her out on her crap! Then Farrah gets all the "poor me" attitude. Farrah GROW UP!!!
I agree with the person who said "so much for the no judgement zone" Tyra's show failed because of how judgy she was and this one will too
This is the downside of being a reality personality, you open your life to the public, you automatically open yourself up to positive and negative feedback
I love how the women who commented probably never had to deal with a unibrow....
She's so detached from reality it's quite concerning.
Have you all not seen Toddlers and Tiaras!?!? Kids look better than the moms!!
I give my 6 year old quarters to let me take care of her unibrow. She happily complies. My 5 year old son, i wait until he is asleep also. I think it does a person and a child well, to be well groomed.
She is not too bright but kids are cruel, why have your child grow up with an insecurity you could avoid.
It’s hair.
This girl, teen mom, should have called it quits after the reality shows. It was a huge mistake to degrade herself for $$$.
Well..that escalated quickly.
I think everyone has mastered the art of being passive aggressive.
I had a unibrow growing up so I wish my mom would’ve done something about it.
if everyone would stop calling her baby ugly. and calling out her unibrow maybe it wouldnt matter.
Someone needs to Rescue Sophia!!! I would have LOST MY SHIT as a little girl if I woke up to my mom wasting or plucking ANYTHING on my face!!! WTF????
Why hasn't CPS stepped in and kept her from being with her child, she doesn't seem like a good parent based on her behavior and attitude.
good for bethenny for stopping to take a breather
farrah needs to have her child taken away. seriously who does that? shes too young! she has no say in wether she wants her eyebrows groomed or not. wow
She was so pissed lol.
And she is a woman . all of the negative comments are extremely disheartening and are truthfully useless and a waste of time to even think negative thoughts like that in your mind and then try to hurt someone else with them is just so heart breaking .
nothing wrong with plucking eyebrows. People will judge either way. She wanted the best for her daughter. It's eyebrows not breast implants.
That lady needs an award 😂😂
Bethany putting all of the women half her age to shame.
Ive had unibrow, and my mom wouldnt let me tpuch even a hair strain before the age pf 15... i would always bicker and fight with her since thr age of 12.. now that im 24 im glad she wasnt like this. Now i, not saying u shouldnt wax och pluck ur brows before 15, if i have a daughter and she wants to pluck her brows ill let her when she turns 12... but cmoooon 4 years???? really?
I would immediately wake up to eyebrow plucking.
some people are exaggerating! its eyebrows not lip injections or liposuction.
Lol Bethenny thought she was gonna take Windy Williams out😂 I'm glad her show was canceled. Interviews like this made it such a waste of film
But when I was a teenager, not a fucking FOUR YEAR OLD
Farrah you're the shit!
I actually agree with farrah on this one.. We give our kids haircuts.. Baths.. Grooming there eyebrows is the same thing.
But it's a four year old. It's better to let them wait till their older, chances are she might grow into her eyebrows
How is styling a kids eyebrows any different then styling the hair on their head?
My bad!
+lolipopPrincess lol it's okay. I swear I didn't even know those painless powders existed
You sure had lots to derive from my single sentence.
I never agreed or disagreed. lol
I am actually very thankful and I'm a boy! not a girl!
Having a unibrow is hard and you wouldn’t understand if you haven’t had one, people are so judgement..
the only thing I could look at was her lips. I mean omg. But really, she's like so sympathetic for these girls who have... unibrows? You live in a first world country darling. there are things you should be more worried about.
These people complaining are the same people having their 3 month old daughters ears pierced...it’s really not that big of a deal
She is way too defensive, not easy to talk to. But plucking eyebrow is nothing wrong... it is not like she is telling her daughter she is ugly and needs to pluck. She does it in her sleep, and the daughter will not notice when she wakes up. It is just like when my mum would put oil in my hair as a kid to ensure my hair is healthy and beautiful.
its kind of sick to pluck a 4 year olds eyebrows while they're sleeping
If my daughter had a unibrow I would of shaved that shit off too😂
Can she just go away, she makes the Kardashians seem normal.
She's making her daughter as insecure as she is. ☹
