    The property and the room look nice. I love that there is a kitchen. That is always nice. I love that so many hotels now have smart tv's to enjoy our streaming services on. I don't love how dark a lot of the hotel rooms we have stayed in recently are. I like to be able to dim lights or shut most lights off. But some fairly recently built hotels we have been in just don't have enough light and that is weird. Thanks for the tour!

    Thanks for the video! We have been going back and forth between this hotel and something closer. Last year we stayed at the Fairfield, and for our trip in February 2023 we wanted a place that was more spacious. Some place that could sleep 4 adults would be ideal. If you have any recommendations, I would appreciate it! As always, thanks for the great honest review!

    • @AnaheimParkTourist

      Thank you so much for watching! We thought the rooms at both the Hilton Garden Inn and the Home 2 Suites on south Manchester were very spacious for our family of 4. Our kids are teenagers and almost our height! Lol. We have videos for both of those hotels. They are a lot closer than the Element, but just slightly longer of a walk than the Fairfield Inn. They are a newer property as well. Home 2 Suites includes a hot breakfast while Hilton Garden Inn does not. You might also want to check out the courtyard Marriott theme park entrance. We have not stayed there yet…but I know the rooms are pretty spacious from all the times I have looked at possibly staying there! They have a pretty neat room and bathroom layout. It is usually pricey though (that’s why we haven’t stayed yet), just a heads up! If you have any other questions, please reach out! Have a wonderful trip!

    Stayed here last year. A little disappointing for the price. The distance is too close to justify an Uber but too far to comfortably walk after a long day. The breakfast was disappointing to 5/5 members of the family. Dry hash browns, watery veggies, paper-thin crepes that couldn't hold up to even picking up, dry breads. We did like the assorted juices, but most of us ended up settling for cereal, which was a major bummer considering how large the serving area is. The handle on the sliding bathroom door broke and nobody came to fix it. Other than that, the room was comfortable enough, the kitchen in our 1-room suite was large and well-appointed, and we loved loved loved the shower. Our flight home was cancelled as we were literally all packed and standing up to walk out, and the front desk staff was very helpful in making it work out to stay an extra day. Our room was on the first floor on the north-south axis, and every time anybody went through that north side exit door, our room door would shake loudly. So it has plenty of pros, but for the price, too many cons. The embassy suites was cheaper, had a similar sized suite, and better breakfast, but a little further away. I'd stay there between the two.

      Oh no. So sorry to hear about your stay. We did have a couple of small issues that we will go over in our experience video. @@AnaheimParkTourist I don't want to make it sound terrible. It was quite adequate. Just a little disappointing considering the price was not much less than the places across the street or places like the embassy suites. Last time we went we stayed at King's Inn on your recommendation. That's an example of a motel that offers nothing beyond a good price and we were just fine with that. I'd happily stay there again, and it was about half the cost of Element. Next time we come for our Anniversary in August, we are scheduled for Magnolia Tree because everything else is so expensive. A little anxious about this one, but what's life without a little adventure?

    Not cheap if staying 10 days well over 2500 US bucks need deep pockets indeed.

    • @AnaheimParkTourist
      @AnaheimParkTourist Před 2 lety

      Yes, depending on the pricing this hotel can be very expensive! We were able to get a decent rate when we stayed. We do factor in the breakfast into the room rate too. For us (family of 4), in the Disneyland resort area, breakfast usually runs us at least $40-50 for take out and even more for sit down. But when the room rate is super expensive, even factoring in breakfast, it is difficult to justify. We can usually find better hotel rates staying further away. Neighboring cities have a lower tax on hotel rooms too. We like to stay in Orange a lot because of that. It seems like a lot of the surrounding hotels have raised their rates quite a bit. While disappointing, we figured this was coming because the hotels were closed for so long here. Let us know if you have any other questions! Thank you for watching!

      @AnaheimParkTourist Před 2 lety

      Yes, this hotel can be very expensive or somewhat reasonable. We have noticed the rates can vary wildly. If you have a larger party, factoring in the included breakfast helps. But when the hotel is very expensive, it’s hard to justify. Thank you for watching!

      Yes, our teenager slept on the sofa bed. It was reasonably comfortable. Not terrible, but not great.
