An artful glance at the inspiration behind and making of Burberry’s new handbag designs, the DK88 Collection
As a brand, Burberry is best known for its rich history and long tradition of classic designs and timeless style. The latest bag collection, the DK88, is named after and inspired by the fabric at the heart of the British brand’s history: the signature honey-coloured gabardine. Designed in London and made in Italy, each handbag is made from trench leather, embossed with the pattern of trench coat, sealed with an oversized, vintage-inspired brass lock and finished off with sculptural handles.
