Idk if you’ll read this or already know, but the destructor is a reference to the devotion in Apex legends/titanfall 2. “Apex predator” is a reference to a gang of mercenaries called the apex predators in the titanfall universe. They typically wore red and white just like the enemy. The devotion had ramping fire rate which became easier to control the longer it was fired, similar to the destructor. It was a energy based LMG that shot blue “laser” like projectiles.
When Boderlands 3 was coming out I was hoping they would make one of the vault hunters a Goliath. Maybe have the action skill become stronger the more kills you get as you grow into a bigger goliath before your helmet snaps back on to keep you from losing control.

The Red Text is a reference to an impromptu line that the singer of the band uses when they used to perform a song called “Scissors” live around 22 years ago.

I’m so jealous of these amazing mods. I play on console and wish that gearbox would consider re-releasing the old games with community patch and such and maybe sell add ons like exodus and other mods and split the profits with the mod creators. Obviously this is unlikely but I can dream

It's honestly a shame the Orion never returned officially after BL1. Easily one of the coolest and best snipers in the series.

I once made up my own Vault Hunter... and Moze is essentially what they were. They were a former Atlas soldier who operated one of those mech suits they had in the General Knoxx DLC.
I completely understand that he usually only plays mods to show the new items and doesn’t do the whole TVHM UVHM stuff but like it would be so nice to see him do a full play through cuz literally NO ONE ever replays this game and it’s such a nice change of pace
ngl I was pretty sad when he said that. I was fully prepared for a 15 episode series. it looks so good!

The Laser gun you got could over penetrate enemies, thats awesome!
And an augment for Joltzs' character, you dash and when you hit the enemy it creates a nova. Or a skill that your dash can go through the enemy and do elemental damage.

You know, I actually did think how other bandit type vault hunters could work, and even thought of how they could be ex-bandits that survived the COV's purge of non-believers.
One of them being a nomad, who aside from having a shield similar to Athena's Aspis, though with something like a shield bash or something, in comparison, could also have something similar to Zero's "marked for death" ability as well.
Another was a goliath/tink duo with a dynamic similar to George & Lennie from Of mice & men. That one, I imagined having skills like the ability to duel-wield guns in a manner similar to Claptrap's Funzerker skill, alongside the obvious berzerk mode, similar to someone like Brick or Krieg's skills. Plus, some potential assistance from the tink on top of that.

Just gotta say with the description of you ideal Borderlands character all I can think of is a Loader bot gone scav after the fall and like the speed boost being the bul loader
i liked the vault hunter idea, personally i think if the action skill was a dash it should put the enemies hit in it in a downed and vulnerable state so they get knocked down shortly and have a debuff that decreases their defenses for a small bit

i think it'd be cool if you could grind up a bunch of Boomacorns in the grinder to get, like, a rocket launcher called the , which is actually an idea i had way back when i first played TPS with a friend. i'd imagine it's like a badaboom, but it has one rocket for every element.
