It takes forever to get anywhere on the PS4 menu. So many menus just to get to one place and you have to remember all the menus to get to a certain place. I was hoping they would switch it up with the PS4 because, I hated the UI on my PS3... They really haven't changed much though other than adding the main bar.

tbh when i got the first kinect i sold ot after a few weeks ( swapped it for laptop to be honest lol ) but with xbox one the kinetic is alot useful, and yeah you can use the controller but its really quite to use voice commands, i can go straight to where i wanna be without clicking thew loads of stuff to get where i wanna be

The Xbox One will learn your voice on a time period of you using commands. So yes, at first you can change accent but in time it will be more difficult because it will have to get use to your new accent.

Wow didn't think the PS4 voice would work that well. And since u can use voice commands with Just the controller headset (you dont need the PS4eye) you won't have to yell. In an area people could say yea instead of you. In southern United States they say y'all which means you all and is a made up word. An example of bad grammar in your writing is writing "I love in your dog wants to play fetch." That is bad grammar because I used the wrong word that technically doesn't make sense and the wrong spelling of your. It should be you're. Something that is technically wrong is technically bad grammar. It doesn't matter where you come from because even if everyone says it that way in a certain area it is still technically wrong. I have a friend that has said something like "I am going to close the lights" which what she is trying to say the word "close" is the complete wrong word to use. I understand what she is trying to say and even if other people say it this way it is still technically wrong. We butcher/change how we speak and what we speak all the time and it's fine but there are rules to English. Here is why putting the word in is wrong. You were talking about a period of time. I'll show you what I mean. "When taking a shower I like to use warm water." "In taking a shower I like to use warm water." That sentence was about a time when I do an action. The word "in" has nothing to do with time. You were talking about a time of when you did the action of switching between things. So, you would use the word when not in. Also, you do not use more smoother. Even if this is how people talk it is still technically wrong. You would say "this is more smoth" or you say "this is smoother then that" or "this is smother with/when that or that." Also, if you read this far I was really just busting your balls which that just means I am teasing you.
Just for people wondering about the Snap feature. You say, "Xbox, Unsnap" to get rid of the snapped feature or press B on your controller. You can say "Xbox Switch" to switch between the snapped feature and the main feature or you can double tap the Home Button on your Xbox Controller.

Might be useless for you but I love the voice commands. When get home from a long day at work and I am making my self something to eat I can use voice commands to turn my xbox on, login with facial recognition, go to netflix and start a show with out even touching the controller. That way when I am ready everything is good to go and I don't have to waste any time its awesome!
Yeah onetime the other TV's in my house were occupied, so I had to use my Xbox One to watch TV in my room (Love the Tv feature). And I was eating KFC at the time :D So ofc my hands would be busy, so them voice commands were really helpful and got me to watching my stuff with only 1 sentence as soon as I sat my ass down! The Kinect isn't for everyone but it is really neat.
I think loading a game with your voice on Play Station works with saying the "brand" of the game, example: Playstation, call of duty. playstation, lego. and so on
The kinect software adapts as it hears your voice more. I have a pretty deep southern accent, and at first the voice commands didn't work. However, after using it for about a week, it's seamless. :)
rtainc it probably works like this: in order to recognize voice commands, the service uses a user-specific database of audio bits, initially only prerecorded ones. when the user says a command and it is recognized, the users voice command bit is put into that database. that way, the next time the system hears the users voice (with his/her accent), it has some audio in its database that more closely resembles the current command than the same command in the initial database, and this makes it easier for the recognition algorithm to match the users command. does this answer your question?

I think if you have windows 7 it comes with a type of voice command but yes you would need a mic but the point still stands it comes with voice command :P I can say go to internet explorer, google, etc

You don't need one, you only need the Mono Headset that comes with the PS4. However you can use the camera for voice command :)
I could care less about this whole voice command technology. I like using my controller to navigate and i like that its 100% accurate.

Xbox one is not the ONLY console that supports 4k technology, Ps4 has it but for pictures and movies, even if mircosoft or sony put 4k with gaming, the games will only run at 30fps that's nothing new.... Ps4 has cloud serves just like the Xbox one its going to have Gaikai-powered cloud gaming where you can stream multiple games including ps3 ones, to me that's sick. Sunset Overdrive will have a massive city SO? GTA V has a massive city with amazing graphic's runs through cloud serves and runs perfectly on the PS3. I'm pretty sure PS4 will be able to run games that look as good as sunset or even better will bigger city's or map.
The Gaikai servers are only used for backward compatibility not to improve games in any way.

Wow didn't think the PS4 voice would work that well. And since u can use voice commands with Just the controller headset (you dont need the PS4eye) you won't have to yell. Xbox1 has way more commands and functionality but it seems as though the ps4 worked better(and that's with the PS4 camera) would work even better with a headset... nice video.

Of course PS4 is faster with voice commands all you are doing is highlighting a game and switching to highlight another game. With xbox one you can navigate the entire system,menus and apps. It will obviously take a second longer to actually open up and run apps and different menus. Also he has the playstation hooked up to it which will obviously cause a bit of lag.

That is actually really good, never thought it would be as good, considering MS built the Xbox one from the Kinect up and that's why it's $100 more. Where the ps4 camera is $50 add on. This will be interesting 1-2year down the road.

On the PS4 you dont have to keep saying "playstation" when using voice commands, just hit L2 and speak your command. That only works while on the PS4 homescreen though.

In an area people could say yea instead of you. In southern United States they say y'all which means you all and is a made up word. An example of bad grammar in your writing is writing "I love in your dog wants to play fetch." That is bad grammar because I used the wrong word that technically doesn't make sense and the wrong spelling of your. It should be you're. Something that is technically wrong is technically bad grammar. It doesn't matter where you come from because even if everyone says it that way in a certain area it is still technically wrong. I have a friend that has said something like "I am going to close the lights" which what she is trying to say the word "close" is the complete wrong word to use. I understand what she is trying to say and even if other people say it this way it is still technically wrong. We butcher/change how we speak and what we speak all the time and it's fine but there are rules to English.
Here is why putting the word in is wrong. You were talking about a period of time. I'll show you what I mean. "When taking a shower I like to use warm water." "In taking a shower I like to use warm water." That sentence was about a time when I do an action. The word "in" has nothing to do with time. You were talking about a time of when you did the action of switching between things. So, you would use the word when not in.
Also, you do not use more smoother. Even if this is how people talk it is still technically wrong. You would say "this is more smoth" or you say "this is smoother then that" or "this is smother with/when that or that."
Also, if you read this far I was really just busting your balls which that just means I am teasing you.

Just for people wondering about the Snap feature. You say, "Xbox, Unsnap" to get rid of the snapped feature or press B on your controller. You can say "Xbox Switch" to switch between the snapped feature and the main feature or you can double tap the Home Button on your Xbox Controller.
I like both consoles and hope to soon have both, but I went with the xbox one because of the games line-up and I have had no problems with it.
Can you do a real breakdown on COD on Ps4 and the One. We all know the graphics will be better, I am more interested in online consistency, hit detection, and lag. Please do a proper video comparing the two! Anyone can comment if you have played both versions!

Might be useless for you but I love the voice commands. When get home from a long day at work and I am making my self something to eat I can use voice commands to turn my xbox on, login with facial recognition, go to netflix and start a show with out even touching the controller. That way when I am ready everything is good to go and I don't have to waste any time its awesome!
Yeah onetime the other TV's in my house were occupied, so I had to use my Xbox One to watch TV in my room (Love the Tv feature). And I was eating KFC at the time :D So ofc my hands would be busy, so them voice commands were really helpful and got me to watching my stuff with only 1 sentence as soon as I sat my ass down! The Kinect isn't for everyone but it is really neat.

I think loading a game with your voice on Play Station works with saying the "brand" of the game, example: Playstation, call of duty. playstation, lego. and so on
At least ps4 voice commands can do accent not some like other racist consoles and phones not gonna say what they are.
The kinect software adapts as it hears your voice more. I have a pretty deep southern accent, and at first the voice commands didn't work. However, after using it for about a week, it's seamless. :)
If you have an xbox one, speak to it with a russian accent for about 5 minutes. It'll pick it up.

it probably works like this: in order to recognize voice commands, the service uses a user-specific database of audio bits, initially only prerecorded ones. when the user says a command and it is recognized, the users voice command bit is put into that database. that way, the next time the system hears the users voice (with his/her accent), it has some audio in its database that more closely resembles the current command than the same command in the initial database, and this makes it easier for the recognition algorithm to match the users command.

Look at other reviews of the xbox when it's not connected through the ps4, it's just as fast but this guy was to lazy to do two seperate videos so since the Xbox one is connected to the ps4 there will be lag, but obviously if it's not it's really useful and fast! I enjoy it :D my friends and I have no problem with it :)
