I'm beginning to think a lexion is the ideal vehicle to do lands end to John o groats, its slow enough to really enjoy the stunning scenery while still plodding along and tall enough with massive windows so you really can make the most of view. Great video 10/10 to all the wonderful folk who came out to support you. Feeling 95% today 😊 also I'm pretty sure that lamppost was ready for a rest 😅

When I saw the lamp post faint, I thought Tom Pemberton had arrived as a guest driver 😂 80%. Great to see these daily updates from a defacto U.K. tourist board team when I get home from work. Scotland has some amazing scenery. Used to love living there before we moved to Canada.

Loved the counting "car colours". In the 70's we were doing 3 hour trips to Coventry EVERY day for 6 weeks, and we each (5 of us ) had a make of wagon to spot. Scammell and soon to be bigger Scania's were the most popular ones. Kept us sane on a cold/pissing down, dark winters morning.

I used to work at Sellars in Perth back in the 90s, I remember a case digger doing similar charity run. They stopped in for fuel and checkover

Great video and good luck with the rest of the trip. We have two 2D’s still in operation on our farm every year to weed our cauliflower. No AdBlue, 5 gallons of diesel a day and no ground compaction. When you come through Cornwall you will be a bit early to see them in operation though. See you on Thursday as you pass Hayle.

Sometimes that green fencing is snow fencing to stop drifts. Used to have it on the a14 near Felixstowe until it stopped snowing as much!
We used to have similar fencing on the Cotswolds, but it’s all gone now as we don’t often get the heavy snow in the winters now

Thanks for making this awesome content and I can watch your daily progress and hear a running commentary and asses my mood as a percentage is such a good idea so that I know when I need to take action. Sadly my sister struggles with her mental health and it sounds like she is on a downwards slide again from reports from my Mum which is hard as she is 160 miles away that I can't just pop round to assist in any way I can.
On a brighter note the scenery in England is different!!! but your footage of Kendal was just stunning it is a place I have not been to but will do in the future after this. Thanks again.

70% today we have been trying to fix the oil pan on our yacht engine for 2 weeks. Now I have to replace the oil pan and that entails me flying to Hannover to pick it up and hiring a crane to lift the engine. An expensive rest of the week, so 70% today but will go up through the week.
bTW I saw your screen yesterday and read it as MILF and thought it was a bit dodgy
