- The Big Almaty Peak is one of the most popular and easily accessible peaks of the Zailiyskogo Alatau.
It is well visible from anywhere in Almaty. The top has the shape of a rocky pyramid. At the foot of the peak is the resort "Almaarasan," Big Almaty Lake, Observatory, and Space Station. A magnificent panorama of the city, lake, and surrounding mountains opens from the top.
