I just had my first baby this year and there were definitely times where all I could think was “how do parents with twins do this” like, understand if you have twins, triplets, more than one newborn baby at all… you are a superhero 100%. Not to be dramatic but to have that kind of patience and energy, it’s a lot of work.
Want a medal? Cause I'm pretty sure our grandparents had about 10 kids and never complained. But one kid is a challenge? You can't just have a kid and complain that you had a kid, not how it works. Cause the kid will feel all that resentment and will not be happy.

When I was a teacher I had a class with THREE SETS OF TWINS. One set was identical and SO HARD to tell apart, one set was also identical but had enough differences that they were easy to tell apart, and the third was fraternal, like a redhead and brunette. It was an interesting year haha
It is super interesting how identical twins can morph from being virtually identical to impossible to misinterpret just by knowing them well. It happened with my identical uncles I remember when I was young I couldn’t tell them apart well but I doubt anything could fool me these days. Even just their personality is clearly different. So it might be a combo, identical twins usually get more different over time and you also know them better if they’re still in your life.
i had friends that were triplets in highschool, but one was homeschooled, so i was only with two of them, and they were fraternal, but similar. there was another triplet too, but one of the sisters died young, and the other didn't go to our school. and then in university i dormed with identical twins, and being faceblind actually helped me be the only one that could tell them apart, because i have to memorise small details of someone in order to remember their faces (think a manual car vs an automatic, natural whole face memory doesn't exist for me), so within a month i never got them wrong.
come to think of it, knowing two sets of triplets of the same age, in the same small village, is probably pretty rare. apart from that one village in like....russia? or something, where for some reason the rate of triplets is mega high. they think it's something to do with the water. idk why i'm writing any of this lol (6 months late too)
