It could be better if you find a more noisy place and test the mic with turned of noise cut and show a comparison also that how it sound outside with phone microphone only in a noise place and then attach the mic in phone now how it sound without turned on noise cut and with turned on noise cut.

It took me some time to find out, that to play your video file back, I need to unplug the receiver and then volume up it again. The receiver blocks the phone speakers?

it's plug and play. no apps needed. when you plugin the receiver via usb c, the transmitter becomes your phone mic.
