Speedway on the other hand, ie single gear, methanol fueled, 500cc bikes, sideways cornering... now that is one to watch.

What if the Euro style Sandbahn (long track speedway) bikes raced in American short track Flat track race? (or viceversa) Would they get trounced? I would love to know the average speed of both type machines? Track length is quite similar if comparing 1/4 mile track to 1200 meter Sandbahn tracks ...right?
