When I was younger, my father's car was a 1991 model 540 with a blue color body and white soft top. KL 10 B 4444 .He sold it few years back

This is one tough beast and a equally distinguished gentleman owner. 540 DP is very off-road capable though old tech. Front housing and differential for the 4 wheel drive ability and a tough low range transfer case. Nothing beats these Jeeps in crawling through mud, rocks and water of high range. 700 rubber sheets is almost 2 ton. In my school days one of my close friend used to Come to school on this MM540 and sometime we used to ride together he used to drive really fast I remember those days hitting 90-100kmph was big deal. He used to scare the hell out of me. It was same color . Peugeot sourced engine .Cool.
