    Adding a scent is not purifying the air. Also, the filter does need to be changed, just not as often as typical purifiers. The company says five years, which is not “never.”

      @brettbuck7362 Před 2 měsíci +3

      5 years if you run it on MAX the entire time with typical dust levels. That is pretty darn close to "forever" considering it runs in 0, 1, and occasionally 2 when on auto.

      I have 2 regular purifiers for about 6-7 years, one I run more often than the other, none of them needed the filters replaced. So I am assuming that if you wipe the screens of this one, it will probably never need replaced.
      I do vacuum my house few times a week, I don't have children or pets, so I don't have much dust. My only problem is I am obsessed with the smell, I can't stand the smell of the food in the house, so I got this one to fasten the process of cleaning the air before impregnating in the walls and carpets.

      @@Lovemusic856 hi o just want to check does this machine really removes the smell of cooking in the house or even kitchen? 8 have been looking around for reviewers and nine so far mentioned anything about removing the smell. Or is it only the odor neutralizer that's making the smell go or just masking it? Thank you.

    I want the Dyson.. but dont want to drop 1200 bucks.. so I picked this one. If I end up loving what it does maybe I will throw more money and get the Dyson for the main rooms and leave this in the bedroom.

      Honestly don’t get the Dyson, I regret getting it. I have had to have it fixed 5 times and it so loud.

      I went through many many reviews about this product, and it was found that it doesn’t filter as well as you’d think. Winex did really well. The $2000 molecule air purifier also tested terribly. More $$$$ doesn’t always = better.

  • @Resist4

    I have a hard believing the air filter never needs changing. The point of a filter is to filter out air particles, so at some point it will need to changed (or cleaned), of those particles. If not, then why have an air filter?
    But after reading about this product further is seems Shark recommends replacing the filter every 5 years (depending on how the air quality is in your room). So Shark lied with the "Neverchange" advertising.
    And by using that air scent thing, it's adding more pollutants to the room no matter how good is smells.

    I got this and think it's broken because no matter where I put it in my apartment it only says 100% never even drops to even 98/99% which just seems ridiculous unrealistic as I know my apartment doesn't have 100% perfect air as people comment on it when they come in. Everything else is just 0 too

    • @Lovemusic856
      @Lovemusic856 Před měsícem

      I started mine the first time and same thing said 100%.
      I sprayed nearby room spray and some perfume, it didn't change anything. I turned it off to wipe the screen with Windex because there were 2 drops from the spraying and when I turned it back on was 98% but it cleaned right away in seconds.
      I did one more test, I made sure this time was on Auto, I burned a box nearby, when finally sensed the smell the quality dropped to about 30%, and it started running and cleaned the air.
      I sprayed in the room again and it dropped to 80% and started running the fan.
      Today, second day, my husband made his pancakes 🥞, it dropped to 86% and started running.
      So, either I didn't have it on Auto when I tested it the first times, or it just finally started working after the smoke...

  • @a1locc25
    @a1locc25 Před 16 dny

    Lawyers reaction. So just like lifetime warranties. Most states a lifetime of a product is 5 years. Some states less. Shark can claim lifetime if it will last a min of 5 years. Shark banks on the fact you are intelligent and replace it before hand.
