I'm not a musician, but I want to be like him somehow, in my own art expression. He expresses purely and genuinely... :-( This song is sad, but it makes people "happy". What a great artist Yiruma is.

I agree ㅠ.ㅠ he makes like he best music in the world but they are also so sad.... During an interview with a newspaper he said he brings up the memories of his lovers.... Maybe that's why? But he creates such joyful music too, and those bring up such pure joy from your inner soul.... SO CONFUSED! HOW DOES HE DO IT??????

Yiruma.. He was studying abroad in England when he wrote the song Kiss the Rain, and he was crossing a bridge when it was raining. He hummed and went home, and the music he wrote in 5 minutes was Kiss the Rain. He used to say on TV that he writes really fast when he writes songs.
"Kiss the Rain" is my favorite since years ago. This one's a great performance.

I saw him at the december 2018 concert. Not only did he play beautiful music, he joked with the audience and also called up one fan to come up up and play with him. He joked about himself too, saying he plays piano only a little bit and that he's ok if your fall asleep, but to just not snore. He did an encore performance at the end with a jazz version of let it snow.

2020.05.13. 맑은 공기와 선선한 바람이 부는날 ... 느낌 참... 슬프고도 담담하고 차가운 느낌이면서도 포근함이...살아 있다는 느낌이 있는...선율은 여전히 좋으네요.
