I just now beat him after like 30 tries lol. I didn’t wanna respec so I was just experimenting , never really got close then all of a sudden I threw some ice affinity on my dual twin blades , and was using the ice spear ash specifically and it murdered him . Staggered him several tiems . I have never felt so satisfied for vengeance

I beat him by using the 2 summons that are available at the door from progressing their questlines + Tiche + Beast Claw fully upgraded with bloodflame attached + Blasphemous blade. I also re-spec'd my strength to 80 because the Beast Claw apparently needed that.
