- Hello Everyone, today's upload is of the new allocation of the E5. The E5 is operated by Transport UK. It was using 2016 Enviro200MMC's, but then they moved from Armstrong Way [GW] to Beddington Cross [BC] Garage onto the S3 & the S4. This is a rubbish change in my opinion because E5 didn't need new buses at all. The YX16's were alright and good enough to last for another 7 years on the route. If anything, Abellio could've just given it a short 3 year contract with those MMC's.
This bus sounds terrible and doesn't suit the route. Why can't they keep the same allocation??? This is a weird move. These should be doing the H28 - (dual doored) next year as it contract renews in 2025, instead of the E5. The E7 should have got this bus also, not GB Kites. The E200MMC's on this route were better idc what anyone says. I wanted to sit at the back, but all seats were taken so yeah; except for the front ones. These electrics buses were first at Battersea [QB] on the 322, then they went to Fulwell [TF] Garage to do the H20, then they were transferred here.
I hope this does the E10 & the E11 soon because they can due to the length of this single door bus.

Electric buses look so ugly these days.
This is like electrifying a route that has 19 plates cos they ain't electric.
Also, I agree with you as there really wasn't any need for this change. They (TUK) are just doing a Go Ahead and just taking routes and electrifying them therefore making their fleet boring and overrated.

Idk why 90 is getting electrified when they have 68/19 plates they’re barely 5 years old. And also 54/75 back in 2019 already had fairly new 2014 euro 6 hybrids (now at Plumstead) but got brand new Smart Hybrid MMCs obviously I prefer the Smart Hybrids but that change wasn’t needed.

Same as 277. It uses 66 and 18 plates and it's getting new BZLs. Whats the point? The hybrids are fine as they are.
