The Nittaku orange ball is really nice to play with and great against light coloured walls

Solid choices. Personally the Nittaku premium just has a bad sound to my ear (hollow/brittle high pitched sound), but the characteristics are very good.
But if we are talking top of the line balls, then I have to say these:
1st place: DHS DJ 40+ Busan WTT - I believe it's discontinued by now, and only old stocks are left in some places?
2nd place: DHS DJ 40+ WTT - this has a similar feel with Nittaku Premium, but much better sound to my ear.
Also haven't tried but heard good things about / worth looking into Andro Zero T 3-Star - it's been used in European championships lately.
No double fish balls come any close to these. That Nittaku Nexcell orange ball is worthwhile if orange color is needed.
For the multi-ball or robot, I'd say either Xiom balls, or DHS D 40+ (notice no J in the name, it's the regular version)
