I think the game is moving beyond 6 stars and Kabam is starting to balance new champions around the 7 star power level. That's why the 6 star version feels bad. I'm sure we all remember when 5 stars started to feel bad. Let's be honest, many R2 and ascended R5 champions are at a very unbalanced attack DPS vs the health pools currently especially in BG's. Juggernaut being a 7 star immediately comes to mind as a blatant example of this.
