    I have B3 INT Tag in Global Tags with array (Dimension) of 15, I use this INT (word) tag in programs as a BOOL, example 16 bit INT tag is B3[0] and used it as bit level (BOOL) B3[0].0, B3[0].1 to B3[0].15, Question: how do i define this bool tags in c-more ?

    how to I get the plc protocol for micro800 if not available?

    • @automationdirect
      @automationdirect  Před rokem +1

      If you're not seeing the Micro800 (RTU or TCP/IP) protocol in the dropdown list, then you may have an older version of the software which doesn't support the protocol, or the device doesn't support it (like currently the CMore Micro). Our latest software versions can be found at www.automationdirect.com/support/software-downloads. If that doesn't fix it, feel free to contact ADC's amazing tech support for a more targeted answer!

    I did this for a system and I keep getting error 206. What am I doing wrong?

      @puckgoodfellow861 it could be any number of small things, from improper formatting, to an invalid data size in the database. I would recommend contacting our award-winning technical support team for further assistance on your specific application.

    will this work on the Cmore Micro Range?

    • @automationdirect
      @automationdirect  Před 4 lety

      No. C-more Micro does not support the Micro 800 protocol.
      But it does support ModBbus. In theory you could use the Modbus addressing in the Micro 800, use the Modbus Driver in C-more Micro and manually create an import file by making a few tags in the C-more Micro project, export it, modify it and import it.

    I can't copy, it's grayed out when I right click. Ctrl + C doesn't do anything.

      The (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V) process method listed in the video was working with the version of Rockwell's CCW at the time of posting. Unfortunately the C-More software isn't involved until after the import text file is created. To at least verify the selected tags are copied from CCW to the Windows clipboard after you press Ctrl+C, press Win+V to view your clipboard contents. If the clipboard contains the copied tags, then you may continue on with the steps listed in the video. Otherwise we would recommend contacting Rockwell Support (www.rockwellautomation.com/en-us/support.html) to determine why the tags are not being copied.
