Dan Fogelberg (1951-2007) was an American singer-songwriter known for his romantic ballads and his musical style that blended rock, folk, pop, and country. He was born in Peoria, Illinois, and began his musical career at a young age, heavily influenced by his parents-his father was a conductor and his mother was a pianist.
