- I wanted to talk about why I think the Vans Vault Authentic LX are the best pair of Vans out there. Now, this is all my opinion of course so I’m aware not everyone will agree but I’ll let you why I think these are the best vans out there. Who knows, this video may even change your mind! I’ll be talking about the difference between the Vault version, why I think they are the best Vans sneaker, the sizing of the shoe, comfort, and styling.
The Sk8 Hi and Old Skool always get all the praise and I feel the Authentics are often left out. For me, the Vans Authentic is a better option than both the sk8 Hi and the Old Skool models and I will talk about why in the video. It’s going to be a video packed full of goodness, so strap yourself in!

Versatile shoes. I will never forget the cold and wet winter evening, when I witnessed a man play an hour of outdoor 5-a-side football in a pair of canvas vans authentic
I feel like oldschool vans in black and white really are the most versatile sneaker on the planet. I do personally prefer white vans though. On an evening out with friends where I know things might get a bit wild, I prefer them over leather sneakers because I know they'll look good and carry flavour when worn out. It's the perfect shoe for those days where you just don't care about a thing.
Agreed, another great thing about the Vans Authentic is that I never have to break them in. They feel great right out of the box. Always have a couple of pairs in my rotation!
The regular authentic or this vault authentic version?
I bought the black ones back in fall as an impulse buy, but never wore them very much because that was also around the same time when I got a pair of black chelsea boots. In fact, for a long while I seriously considered selling these. But just this week, I started wearing these Vans more often and wow. I adore them, just like how I used to adore them before I bought them! I have 3 other pairs of shoes and yet I still find myself reaching for the Vans Vault Authentics Lx around 1/3 of the time. The combination of the black, canvas upper and chunky white sole is so unique and charismatic. I highly recommend these shoes.

As someone who's somewhat of a Vans nerd, these newer OG Vaults are super nice for the price. Vans Vault has been actually slightly modifying the whole shape of their shoes for years now, and these newer ones are the closest they've gotten to the shape and look of their old Made In The USA Vans. If you're one of those people who prefer Chuck 70s over the regular ones, give any Vans Vault shoe that has "OG" in the name a try. These are basically the Chuck 70s of Vans, thicker chunkier soles, thicker materials, and slightly more comfort.
Been a vans converse and puma guy since day one. I love how they go with anything u wear. I don't like shoes that only go with certain outfits that u will barely even wear. Not to mention that these shoes still look dope even when they are all beaten up.
Love these shoes from Vans, a real classic and timeless design sneakers.
Yesterday I was at the party and danced in usual black/white authentics, for that kind of activities they are perfect too 😌
I was a converse user before then I tried Vans, I can say its an overall shoes. It isn't hard to pair with shorts and any pants. It's a classic and a masterpiece.

My favorite vans are the half cab, which doesn’t see daylight often, but when then do… it sells out fast.
Half cabs are cool and look great on some people but I’ve never wanted a pair personally.

Yes, I agree the Chuck Taylor 70s and the vans authentic but the two best shoes in the world in my opinion. And I have them in almost every color.

Harry, I do love my authentics. I own 5 pairs. After buying a pair of Chuck 70’s, I find it much harder to wear my regular Chucks so I am intrigued by these upscale Van Authentics.
I was brought up buying a cheap pair of replacement boat shoes each summer on our family holiday down in Devon or Cornwall, so Vans Authentics are just a natural fit for me. Chucks were a harder sell for me but I do like them much more nowadays.
I grew up with Authentics and chucks were later for me too. I didn’t used to like chucks when I was younger

LX have good soles i like that it has no lining, it gives a subtle clean detail and that toe box too. i had grey suede LX. been wearing them for 5years now pretty much worn but less heel drag

@@HarryHas i fell inlove with its color blocking, almost chalk offwhite soles and those grey cement. i had to make the soles last they really look good without the lining, theyre almost my 2nd go to sneaker
My favorite vans are the old skools. Specifically the sk8 versions as they are more cushioned and the materials a bit more premium. I will always have a pair in my wardrobe of them in my wardrobe.

Vans website never stock them unfortunately. I never tend to buy directly from brands websites anyway. Normally I shop from retailers who stock loss of brands

I believe there's 3 versions - this Vault Originals, Anaheim DX Series and the normal ones available at stores.
I prefer both the Vault and Anaheim ones as they are very similar specs wise in terms of quality and the little details that you mentioned earlier. *We agree on alot of things when it comes to Converse/Vans hahah*

i saw someone's review about comparison between anaheim & classic. they said that the only differences are the insole and midsole. they didnt mention anything about the upper. i've never own a pair so i couldnt tell

I feel the regular off white version are the best compared to Vault. They are close to and can be compared to Converse 70s.
I love them too and glad I have them.
I tried on the Vans authentic at my local jd sports and my heel was slipping out of them in regular size (eu 43) is that a normal thing or is it just me.

I think the rubber may have smelt kinda synthetic at first but it’s nothing I have really noticed or paid attention to.

Tbh the 2016 vault much better from the quality and material. If you just get into vans vault yeah the vans vault now new from 2020 series 😅
The old vanshead always looking the 2016 but is so hard now beacuse they stop producing it. I do still love some 2020 vault design too
Are the inside soles cushier than its comfycush counterpart? Once I wear cumfycush sole I know I will never go back to the regular vans.
