Spent a few years of my childhood in Baghdad... mid 70s....The most wonderful memories... Lived in Jamila as Sanna... Wonder what the place is like now...
Recognized the Unknown Soldiers Monument and the Admiyan mosque

One of My relative from Bangladesh used to work in the Iraqi ministry of health from 1978 to 1982. Baghdad was the jewel of the Arab world at that time. If there was like any wars like with Iran or Kuwait,it could have beaten even Dubai today because so much natural resources it possess.
