- What's up AK Family! The start of our trip has really just been a series of unfortunate events but we have to roll with the punches. When our tickets were rebooked for this flight it turns out that we were on a standby list and didn't have actual seats (despite us being told that we were confirmed to be on this flight). At least they put us in a good hotel this time! To those who are rooting for us to get on this flight...stay tuned for the next video!! I just came back from Rome and a 10-day cruise to Greece and Turkey. The food in Rome and Greece was unbelievable. I'm praying you guys make it!!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

We did look into that…the prices were crazy out of our budget especially being less than 24 hours out ☹️

Hey guys. Omg. How much worse can it get? Flight cancelled. Missed Paris. Fleabag hotel. Now the couple in front of you got the last 2 seats. In this day and age never understand how flights can still be overbooked 🤦♀️. Your calm and composure is commendable. Ok with the Renaissance hotel. Nice. No bugs no dust. Good meal. Oh. Still COVID tests? Usually went to CVS but E med looked simple. Come on y’all with this flight🙏🏼. Y’all the most pleasant down and out folks I ever saw. 🥹. I’m hollering at the Tom Cruise analogy😂😂. Delta put us up at the Renaissance too after my flight to Rio was delayed to the next morning. It made the situation a little better too. ❤️

I'm feeling your pain Kyra of being upset. I've been in your place alone, and missing your cruise. I ended up flying to Aruba to catch up with the ship. I was willing to set up all night at the airport there, but they closed at 9pm and you had to leave. Long story shot, I was fist in line to board the ship. Then deal with lost luggage for two days. I'm with you my sister.
