      Yes and no it shares some components from the e class such as the front and rear suspension setup but the chassis is actually the lx platform shared with the dodge charger and challenger.

      They weren't. They were built on Chrysler's own LX platform.

      And the engine and the gearbox and the whole transmission is from a Merc E-class. The chassis is a bit questionable because they rust a lot

      Before we test the Chrysler, I would say the BMW X5. Now I would tell you that the Chrysler is better. It has many details of Mercedes e class and similar comfort. If it is properly maintained, you will not hear the engine while driving. A real treat. However, this is just my opinion, someone may have better advice.
