As soon as summer hits, the 9 year old kid that started playground fights who also had anger issues and chased squirmy kids with bugs comes flooding back. The kid that wouldn’t let anyone push me around and who wore bandaids to look tough.
I think I was cooler as a child than I am as a teenager.
Now I won’t talk back to anyone, take insults without reaction (which ig is a good thing lol), is always tired and never riled up. Now I try to fit in so people won’t stare.
But these high school summers? I go crazy. I think I was last happy around the age of 10-ish. Before the trauma n shit. So maybe it’s because summer break reminds me of my childhood that got taken away so quickly. Maybe that’s why I become so immature. As much as I think I grew up, I didn’t do it gracefully. I did it too quickly by supressing it.
:] i think of summer as a good thing. I can be a kid again, ffs. No matter how tall i am or how mature I look. No matter the fact life tamed me into a tired, sarcastic, unexcited teenager who respects adults at all costs.
Soon as summer hits, screw adults. My key saying every summer (which my friends jokingly make fun of me for) is, “screw it, it’s summer!”

@@pokeyishere i actually commented almost 2 years ago now. Well, it's such a difficult thing cuz last years have been crazy, so i was kinda in this vibe too much for then. Now i've been passing for a lot more of things, and now and then i think i relate this songs with, is the messy and tired feeling for life, like idk some shit happened and idk wtf to do (basically this shit burns off and im going crazy pls send help) and i think that's the lyrics of the songs and the playlist related to, but also the sounds make me feel like im fighting through hard times and im giving a fuck cuz i know i can, i can burn myself but i will handle it, kinda brave in that sense idk. the thing here is that i actually feel this is like part of some feelings that i come back to currently lol, like everything in life, but it's like a part of my thought paths that says, fuck it i can go. Clearly not a life-phase, cuz nothing in life its forever, even the life. But yeah, if you care JAKSJSJ
