Programming your MultiPlus or Quattro with Victron Connect

The VictronConnect app can be downloaded from the Victron website and operated in demo mode. If you like you can follow along with me in demo mode we can take it for a test run. VictronConnect can now be used for almost all programming of these Multi's and Quattros. At the time of writing (July 2022) there are still a few functions it can't do. If you need to use any of the advanced programming options called "Assistants" you will have to do that using another program called VE Configure.

My Android Victron Connect app on the phone only gives me very limited access to the inverter settings. The Settings are not near like what is shown in the video when using the Victron Connect Windows program.

Thanks for the interesting video. As I do see my Multiplus on VRM but not on the Victron Connect app, as in your case, what do I have to do to see it in the app?

This video describes programming the MultiPlus locally using your laptop and Victron Connect. While it is possible to do this remotely over the VRM it is for advanced users and uses a different program. I wouldn't recommend trying it until you have become thoroughly familiar with doing it locally first. We don't give out the instructions but you will find them in the VRM Portal Documentation

Question regarding power assist. Power assist means you are using two power sources.
In some countries in Europe, using two power sources is not allowed.
What is the code in USA and ABYC view on using two power sources at the same time?

This application is permitted in the US. We are augmenting the incoming power but we are never sending power back to the grid.
