What router are you using? I am on network version 8.0.28 and I am not seeing the Traffic Rules tab like you are. I am using the USG-Pro-4 so I am thinking that this is a hardware limitation but I don't hear you mention your hardware during the video. EDIT: I see later that you mention "Dream Machine". It would be nice to know which products support this feature specifically. Is there a list somewhere?
As far as I am aware this feature is available on the UDM pro, Pro SE, UDR and the new models (Unifi express etc.). The USG is older so may not have this ability. Unfortunately I am not aware of a list, Ubiquiti aren’t great at releasing that kind of documentation.
@@home.network.solutionsI really want an easy way to limit my children's CZcams intake so I bit the bullet and ordered the UXG-Pro
Its there a way to block specific CZcams channels ? My son gets a lot of good things from CZcams but can also blunder onto things we don't want him to look at
You could allow CZcams kids and block the main CZcams channels. In terms of allowing specific channels that may be possible but it would be fairly labour intensive.
doing this doesnt block youtube for me, in fact, i am watching your video on youtube after having set up said traffic rule. any ideas what may cause this?
Maybe close the browser and try again. It will work.
mine doesnt have that what should I do?
It needs to be a fairly decent router to have this feature. Unifi, TP-Link Omada and Draytek routers all have this feature.
When I do this, it blocks Paramount+ app as well. Do you know the fix to this?
You could add the paramount services to the allowed list if you know the addresses.
