jeffrey woods, also more commonly known as jeff the killer, is the titular villainous protagonist of the creepypasta short story of the same name by the brother of gamefueltv. he is a teenage boy who loses his sanity and becomes a serial killer to satisfy his homicidal urges.
jeff has extremely pale skin and burnt off eyelids, giving him an even more ghostly appearance. jeff later got his most distinctive trait, the smile that he had carved into his face with a knife. his build is commonly described as slim but fit at the same time and reaching a height of around 5 to 6 feet (1.5 to 1.8 m). his clothing normally consists of a pair of black skinny jeans with a white hooded sweatshirt, sometimes stained with fresh and old blood from his victims.
jason dean, jd, is from heathers which is a 1989 american black comedy teen film written by daniel waters and directed by Michael Lehmann, in both of their respective film debuts. It stars Winona Ryder, Christian Slater, Shannen Doherty, Lisanne Falk, Kim Walker, and Penelope Milford. The jason dean film portrays four teenage girls - three of whom are named heather - in a clique at an Ohio high school, whose lives are disrupted by the arrival of a misanthrope intent on murdering the popular students and staging their deaths as suicides.
jason dean, also known as jd, is the main male antagonist and the true main antagonists in the cult classic film heathers. jason dean falls in love with veronica sawyer, kills three students who hurt veronica, and finally attempts to kill veronica and blow up the school before ultimately killing himself. yea thats jd.

I will admit it left me a tad bemused when the Creepypasta character Jeffrey Woods, also known as “Jeff the Killer” did not even make the slightest reference to the popular meme “My Nama Jeff”, based off of the popular clip from 22 Jump Street.

I have a vague feeling that I am replying past the optimal time, but I shall speak nonetheless. Many of the lines in this song based around rapping insults at a fellow human made me give an audible cry, as the insults included were deeply satisfying to experience the sound waves enter my ear canal

Seriously did so much justice to both sides, voice acting and body acting wise. I was worried stepping into this due to how both are very specific characters that need to be portrayed lyrically, vocally and physically and, wow, this just, WORKS. The people involved with the voices/body acting DESTROYED this. I would expect no less than metal incorporation from Vinny and those metal breakups are some of the most dynamic transitions I've ever heard in one of your battles. Benny's ability to mimic JD's vocal inflexions and Vlad being able to sell his demeanor (and especially LOOKS, holy SHIT he got into character) blew me away. I've been hyped for this battle ever since production started and for this matchup being something people might think of right away, the crew made such a sick project as a whole. (Props to the background work looking so stellar!) You're setting the bar high as hell this year already, Dustin. Bravo. I hope this gets the buzz it deserves.

However, VinnyO also makes original rap music, oftentimes including screamos, which he does as Jeff at the end of his first verse in this battle.

Rap battles with Jeff the Killer in it aren't usually very good, but you guys managed to, well, "kill" it with this one! The matchup actually works really well and both had some pretty great bars.
Also, I was at first kind of iffy on the death metal screaming parts in Jeff's first verse, but I think it fits his extremely edgy nature, so I think it works here.

Yeah, what people usually forget is that he’s legit insane. A true sociopath, he may begin like a calm and ordinary teen, but can change in a flash to a rampant, blood-lusted sociopath with no empathy for human life.

That and the screamo part in general took it for me. The energy is awesome, I love it. And Jeff had some pretty sick burns. I will say JD's flow was really damn good tho.
This is an incredibly well-executed portrayal of Jeff the Killer. Recently I went back a decade and read some of Jeff's iterations out of random interest, which certainly made listening to this far more fun.
TL;DR - Edgy teens made Jeff more of a joke than he needed to be and I think this rap shows that the character itself has merit.
Out of the different JtK stories, -- The 2008 video which involved him spilling a bucket of acid on himself, the (in)famous 2011 pasta where he got lit on fire using non-flammable substances (then janks up his face), and the 2015 fanfic where he took a flare to the head and became Two-Face's edgy son -- I have to say I'll always prefer GFTV's pasta because it hits the balance between being flippin' goofy and being r/im14andthisisdeep fanfic crud. The way it's brought up in this battle (e.g. "how to keep a party lit" "keep on carving your eyes out" "Couldn't drink a shot but it still left you shitfaced") shows a well executed focus on the most common knowledge of the character, while also keeping in mind the other bits and pieces as well ("drain cleaner slip" and "reject with half a face left").
Even the portion of the rap where Jeff goes screamo is done well, which is wild. I mean, for all intents and purposes, it's edgy, but it's done in a manner designed to acknowledge its own origins. Like saying "Yeah. I'm a middle school Joker fanfic. What of it? I can still outrap this guy." And I think if that was the mentality more modern depictions of Jeff in... I won't say pop culture, he isn't there... Niche culture? Cringe culture? Whatever, if more people did it like that I feel like Jeff wouldn't be so reserved to the tiny corner of edgy fangirls/fanboys of the world.
When I once spoke to Sesseur (creator of the character and 2008 story), it seemed to me that he shared my opinion that characters/concepts shouldn't be defined by the people who follow them, and I think that if Jeff wasn't so alluring to the sharpest of edges it'd still be recognized as a valid creepypasta, the merit of which I think this rap battle does a good job of expressing.

* JD got too ambitious with bombing the entire school at once, and he was stupid for blabbing his plan to Veronica - who is nowhere near as big a wimp as Ryoba's senpai

- both are frequently drawn with their weapons of choice
* Ryoba has a knife, while JD has a gun
- both used manipulation to get what they wanted
* JD blackmailed Heather Duke to get everyone's signatures or else he would leak pictures of her being friends with Martha. He was also smart enough to avoid arrest for that long, especially with the incident with Kurt and Ram in the cafeteria on his record.
- both yanderes need something to feel true emotions
* Ryoba needs her senpai, while JD needs Veronica (and slushies)

By far my favorite battle yet!! I’m a HUGE fan of both characters, and you guys delivered it so well that my gf, who doesn’t even like ERB, LOVED this battle so much!! Excellent work! 👌
god i am obsessed with this battle! everyone just did so well and the flow, build, and characteristics are just all there BUT i am to tell you i have broken this battle down multiple times and found that the true winner is... Jeff the Killer... lemme tell you how, now you're probably like "wha-? i thought he lost?" but if we pay attention to Jasons opening line to his ending line we find that the only real damage he did was with his "Fast Flow" sequence (0:47) "Came into tidy up, Pack your bags when i'm lighting up" he is referencing his life to Jeff and comparing witch isn't all that bad but still did some damage, and for the rest of that flow he went all in, however, we were blinded so much by those bars and disses that we didn't realize that jeff pretty much took the battle when he mentioned "Winona Ryder" (APPARENTLY) i am not saying this is legit but, apparently, it was the deepest meaning than we have thought as he is saying "so your upset because she doesn't wanna fuck? the hells wrong with you?" i can see that it seems it has less meaning but until you look into it the more your brain expands i'm not gonna lie then he gets bonus points for his flow and rebuddles throughout the battle then the "you can't even give company to your own mother's grave" line, is the most messed up diss that goes over Jason's points by a smidgen. now i would go on but this is to much of a banger that to wright all of it would technically take a whole year after the info i've uncovered in this Rap Battle.
bottom line Jeff the Killer won and on a scale competing with JD, it would be (JD - 98%) then (Jeff - 98.9%)
and if you disagree, its fine, cause we are all right and its everyones personal opinion and i will not try to change it, just thought we might wanna look into this right here my brain hurts a little ima lay down and keep thinking about this rap battle for some reason like i always do

Ok this has to be the point where Freshy's channel has the same and even better quality than the erb battles. Like the willy Wonka vs Walter White battle and every live battle is good, but I feel like it was a little too, shakey. This one it fits perfectly and the yelling threw me off and i loved it. I thought the best one was bear grills vs steve irwin, but now I think this might be better. Like holy shit I'm impressed.

Yes! This was my favorite out of the Winter Collection.
Its rare to stumble across a rap battle where I only knew who Jeff was, but then I liked the rap so much I had to study up on Jason just to listen again and continue getting more out of it. That is a high quality rap battle, when you actually promote the source material because yours was so good. Very well done! Loved it and will be buying it soon if it comes to ITunes.

Hands down, this rap is my all time favorite. First of all, it made me actually enjoy the character Jeff the Killer. I loathe the character and the story as bad and poorly written. One of the worst creepypastas ever made. Yet, good God I cant help it I actually enjoy him here. Two, I've never thought of putting these two together in a battle. It works too damn well. 3 the flow is good, and the bars they drop are solid. References galore as well and burns that slap.

This, this is a tough call to make. Both had some pretty great disses at one another. Obviously JD is the crowd favourite, very likely due to him not being reduced to cringe like Jeff has, but take away that factor, and this is a 50/50 battle. Today I’d say Jeff won, but tomorrow I could say JD won.

I don't know who Jeff is so I can't say anything about that portrayal. But JD's actor is amazing. The manner of holding himself is so very JD. And the voice actor killed it! He sounds so much like him and spits bars. So for me JD's parts were fire. I did like Jeff's screaming though but the win I'd have to give to JD.
