Looking back now on this video, @12:20 breaks my heart that Miru took Fubuki and ran ....it was only a year before this video that Miru had a daughter took good care of her for 2 days and she passed away, I really wish they allow her to have another baby.....
@Debra Calabrese- I've also been looking back for video of Fubuki when he was the same age as Ibuki is now. FYI...check out CR3's video from 5/11/14, titled "Chimpanzee Momoko and her baby Fubuki at Tama Zoo #2," and you will be shocked by how much they look alike, even though they had different dads. Momoko even holds tiny fubuki up by his arms, just as we have recently seen her do with Ibuki. You are right about poor Miru. Their are other females in the group who have had similar problems, like Nana, who gave birth 4 times between 1992 and 1997. Two babies died within one week of birth, and the other two were taken away from her and given to other zoos at one year and two years respectively. All this info is from the GAIN website. Now we know why she follows Momoko around and stares longingly at Ibuki. I wish they would allow Miru and Nana to breed, as their mothering instincts are still very active. If they won't allow breeding, they should at least volunteer to take in any orphan baby chimps who are in need of a surrogate mother.
dm gib wow, that’s so sad. Miru looks like she want a baby so badly. How old is she now? That’s so sad that the took Nana babies away and Miru’s passed. How come they can’t have any babies?

Cute Fubuki with mummy he is full of fun and lively love to be free and play with the rope and the older one all the older one love him very much I love to watch him he is so cute thank you for you video ,
lol the baby looked so funny at 01:16...had its hands over by the chimp's face that has its back to us where we cannot see the face so it is hard to tell what exactly the baby is doing while touching the bigger chimp but when it pulls it hands back away the baby places its hand over it's eyes and head in such a way that is so cute and funny..I wonder why he did that.

I had to double check,Ibuki is Fubuki double.Always thought they looked a like,this video confirms it
