Love how the parkour slowly gets better, then worse again
Last 4 weigh more so maybe realistic approach 🤔 but mirage is said to unity parkour so some to look forward too I guess
Well the games go further back in time so ofcourse there won't be any parkour
@@ogstreet2390 it’s more that they wanted to make the games as accessible as possible for the lowest common denominator who want mindless 100 hour games with 0 depth
Ac Unity: * Casually being the smoothest one there*
until Arno gets stuck on a 2 foot chimney and no matter what you do you can't get off until you finally get him to move and he flings himself off the roof. AC unity has nice animations, the mechanics themselves need a lot of work. Syndicate has the same exact parkour system, but better and with the kinks worked out.
I'm not gonna edit the message because those are annoying, but I want to specify that I was talking about the animations. Also syndicate is cool until you get the grapple hook and you go from Assassin's Creed to playing as Batman.
AC's parkour reached its peak in unity. it means after that it became shit
@@MountainBain They took down a lot of parkour mechanics in Syndicate, and they used same engine till Valhalla, and Mirage is also in that same engine
parkour in AC was born with Unity and died with Syndicate, all other games is climbing or extreme parkour, that is very different to normal parkour
Nobody talks about but AC3 parkour is awesome
@@lmaolol7702 What? You're straight up smoking crack homie. AC3 parkour is literally several times better than the previous games. It's way more technical, allows much more freedom of movement with vaults, tree climbing, and techs, and has at least double the amount of animations as 2-Revelations.
@@lmaolol7702 What? AC3 parkour is literally several times better than previous games. It's faster, way more fluid, more technical, allows greater freedom of movement with vaults, tree climbing, and techs, and has at least double the animations of 2-Revelations.
me : *laughs at AC Odyssey *
@@themester1112 I enjoyed it but it was more a Spartan game very fun and great story but no assassins I'd say my money was well spent
@@sheevpalpatine7591 yeah, i loved the game too but it has a HUGE map with many activities, so i didnt completed it fully, atleast it was free to me due the game pass.
Probably the most constant and similar aspect of gameplay throughout the games ive seen so far
Love how all the older games have actual clips of the running, the climbing, the jumping, meanwhile the newer games clips are just GrAb LeDgE
Best Parkour can be seen in unity cause it's smooth and even has a powder effect coming from impact.
Best was 2-R in my opinion. It followed your inputs precisely, so you had to get good at it. It was the smoothest out of any. AC unity there’s a lot of issues with it not following commands properly and getting itself locked in animations. It was also buggy. Syndicate is actually a better example because it was polished, and kept running down
@@johnhachey9239 Ac1 as well. It's all player input and there's ways to vault too. Looks sick
@@chrissant6277 AC1 has horrible parkour, and isn't one of the better games. It's just looked on with nostalgia. The parkour was buggy, and unpolished, the story was boring, the quests were copy paste and boring. AC2 was far more polished and used the downfalls of the first game to improve.
I like how we hear altair voice every time he do anything in game whether it would be parkour, fighting, and even blending in my opinion ac 1 has the most realistic parkour even though it too slow
It's not slow, it's just more realistic. The problem is that most players didn't understand how to play it and just climbed up, although the game encourages a different style, the player must control himself and look for faster ways to climb. The same is true in the combat system, people did not understand it and therefore all they can do is counterattack, as ubisoft deliberately made counterattacks so strong, which should not have been, as far as I know.
You need to include the absolute DROPS you can take in odyssey. They like deleted fall damage
I like it. means if the game accidentally chucks you off a cliff or some shit you don't die because of it. All the other AC games are buggy as all shit, I love em, but they are. The game chucking you off buildings has always been an issue, and removing fall damage solves it.
@@ploopy8780 oh so solve poverty jsut delete the poverty line??? that's a solution????
@@ploopy8780That's nonfactual, The Ezio Trilogy felt buggy and broken, but once you get into it and try to learn it you realize everytime you leaped off of a building it was your fault.
When you were doing Ezio from revaluations you should have used the hook blade as well
The parkour in assassin creed is amazing
I came here for the uNiTy HaD tHe BeSt PaRkoUr
Unity has the best parkour systems and is the most fluent game in AC series, and people like u likes only the new AC games
Yea unity's parkour is literally just flash. No skill in it.
Ac1-revelations had player direct inputs. You learn to get good at parkour and holy sh*t... the parkour becomes good
@@chrissant6277 AC1 is trash, the only reason people say otherwise is because of nostalgia, but it doesn't hold up at all.
Unity/Syndicate just had the best mechanics. From stealth to parkour. I hope they return to it
Parkour was not even close to the first four games. The stealth was very good though. Shame about the stories.
Syndicate Is Basically Batman If Bruce Wayne was Part Of The Brotherhood
@@Cowmilker98Unity had a fine story? And I am currently playing Syndicate and it's been fine as well? It's not Ezio good but it's decent
Assassins Creed Unity is a true work of art
The parkour is an art but the game I don't think so it was probably the most glitchiest game all assassins creed franchise
because it lets you do exactly what you want and you have to genuinely be good at parkour. People only say unity has the best parkour system because it has good animation and it looks smooth but in reality it’s probably one of the worst because half the time it doesn’t work but it looks cool. Ac1 is the only one with direct inputs that had Altair actually doing what you want
If Unity doesn’t work for you, then there’s something wrong with your system or player skills, and I genuinely don’t care that I’m a year late
Anyone else noticed how ezio seems to make more audible noise when free running in each game. Might not even be intentional but yeah
yes, so realistic but not realistic at the same time. You do make noise when you climb, but when you do it in a room full of enemies, how do they not hear you with your *ah! eh! oh! ah!* 🤣🤣
Brotherhood was such a big evolution of the series. I will remember that game forever.
Running in any assassin's creed is really just Running straight and hitting that angle that yeets you off the side of a large building.
Assassin: *does a cool parkour.*
NPCs: He's going to hurt himself and when he dies, I won't help him.
Brotherhood and revelation was amazing!
Surprised that they haven't implemented Prince of Persia's wall run considering both games came from the same company...
@@hawken796 This is a series where assassins in the 1400s can talk to Gods. Realism needs to take a backseat for fun and not the other way around.
@@hawken796your comment is irelevant since ac literally have gods and magics now... 😔
Everyone talks about Unity's being the best one but my pick goes to the Ezio Trilogy. Unity was too stiff with the buttons and never felt fluid but The Ezio Trilogy never had any problems with the input delay and the hook blade from revelations gave me the power of flight. Unity looks good from a visual standpoint but in My opinion, the Ezio Trilogy had the best feeling from a gameplay standpoint.
Stiff? Tf are you doing while playing Unity that the button prompts feel stiff?
The best parkour is in Brotherhood hands down. AC2 is a close second
No that would be the Kenway trilogy is the same thing but with new animations that make it look better
@@walo351 no. Black Flag has no mountain climbing, these 3 games have less control of the character, the cancelability is worse, there aren't things like parachutes
Ac2 has the most flexibility but unity definitely feels the best, unity could have been perfect with wall eject and catch ledge
@@seawolf5153 with good animations, rules that make sense, not climbing everything without catching smth
AC3 and Unity, best parkour of franchise
Damn. That was some godlike parkour in AC Valhalla!
It really makes you fell like a 70 year old man when you take 5 seconds to get up a ledge
Get Arno in the nba with those hops he has
Unity had the best parkour then Ubisoft thought, "lets focus on making tanky enemies for all the new games instead."
AC 3 is when the parkour really started getting good in my opinion
Arno is so smooth, and all the flips and spins are just 💋
AC origins: rolls
AC odyssey: climbs
AC Valhalla: ONE JUMP
That Odyssey clip man. I burst out laughing.
*assassin's creed being about assassin's, stealth and parkour*
ac odyssey: *has none*
No stealth, assassin or parkour? Sounds like no ezio robes and skill issue
Showing Revelations' parkour without the hook was criminal
Imo ac3 helped pave the way for parkour in future games with how the stealth system worked
Gráfic assasinis Creed 1 😎
Grafic assasinis Creed 2 🤨🕶️🤏
Origins: *Fall*👍
I genuinely think ac1 was the best parkour because for example if you climb a long tower it truly felt rewarding
shay has such a weird run.
I really enjoyed parkour in unity, syndicate, and origins.
ac1 had the best parkour with best compliments...
good save him, he has gone mad...
that tone... XD
Everyone after Ezio was filled with helium
I just started assassin's Creed. Completed 1 and bout to end 2. I really wanted that Al-Mualim outfit in assassin's Creed 1. But got that in 2 after getting Altair armor. I guess Altair took over after Al-Mualim
I love how clear it is you had to improvise to show off for Syndicate - Valhalla since parkour has degraded so much
The most realistic Parkour I guess is the brotherhood one it's not fluid but u can believe that's some hard work to climb up
Parkour before the origins: parkour Parkour after: spider-man
Brotherhood was surprisingly fast
My fav is rogue, 3 and rhe best unity. Its parkour is the smoothest
As much as people love to bitch about the later games you can so tell the parkour got really fucking smooth as time went on.
The ac rogue parkour just passing by
Unity Osmm Parkour😍😘😘
Who ever worked on the unity parkour should be the one responsible for the parkour in all games
*Ezio doing parkour smoothly
Civilians: wouldn't that make you... DRUNK?!
Arno: * fly * 🔄↪⤴️↘️
The first need a remake, please Ubisoft listen to me ❤ Thanks for this since so much years 😊
There's nothing like unity
You should have to use the hook blade in the Revelation part, especially in the long jump vase thing.
Блин,в первой части паркур классный для того времени
I like first game most. Its slowest and most tactical
I like how Ezio doesn't have any bounce while leaping beam to beam.
You mean he is under normal gravitational effects... until Ubisoft decided Assassin's don't need gravity
I love unity so much 😭
Unity had so much potential, if only it had a better story, that game would've been legendary
I miss my first time playing assassins creed
the switch from rogue to unity needs to be reapplied
Unity was the best in the series , and ı don't it'll ever change
I'm so glad that unity is getting the love is deserves with all its faults what they did well really shined for those who played it
With all the bugs gone the only notable problem is the story, but the gameplay makes up for it
Kinda funny how all they have to do was try to fix all the bug for Unity parkour and improve from there. But no they decided scale up a skyscrapper in 2 seconds with batman's grabling hook is a better idea
Even when i agreed on Unity being the best parkour in the franchise, there is something about Connor's parkour that i really love and enjoy of the Kenways/Rogue era
I give unity a lot of hate because how buggy it was and it felt under developed, but it had the best looking parkour
I miss that side jump thing u were able to do in the older ezio games
You can do them up to Rogue. Unity has a version of it but you only need to aim your stick and high profile to do it
Best parkour is in AC1, AC2, ACB, ACR AND ACU
@@Joelsunil80382 parkour in 3 and BF is simpler and you have less control on your character
with as many bugs unity had, it definitely had the best parkour
Unity is a good game now, shame it only took it half a decade. I still play it from time to time.
remember when you had to look for a spot to climb? yeah, i miss that in Valhalla, no visual way to climb this 90° rock but he does it anyways
It wasn't as smooth in Syndicate, but that's partially because of how London was setup with wide streets. It was still good parkour. Not as good as Unity, but none of them have as good of parkour as Unity. But that kinda makes sense, since parkour was invented in France.
Ac1 to revelations is the best
Ubisoft Parkour system is great
ACR: Dont us the hook
Longer clips on older games, hella short clips on newer games, and showcasing literally thee worse spots for parkor in their massive open worlds. There's tons of locations where you can run along rooftops and on poles going up or down sides of buildings with swining obstacles. Honestly the parkor has improved a lot, the og acs aren't bad by any means but the new ones(especially valhalla) is quite polished.
Ac unity is butter man! Damnnn!💥
W vid
Parkour slowly gets better till Syndicate where it had dropped slightly. Then Origins has it drop all the way back to AC1
it looks similar but in reality when you parkour in AC 1 - AC Revelations and in all games after you feel that it is very different because of old "4-button(legs, head, armed hand, not-armed hand) sistem" of AC1 - AC Revelations gameplay
Watching Ezio trip felt so nostalgic and personal it's not even funny
Unity is the best engine and should have been the primary engine for AC games moving forward
Unity the best
peaked at unity than plummeted
is it just me or did altaïr become a villager when he did a stride at the beginning
CRAZY DIAMOND
Annnnnd ACTION! 🎬
ac unity was great but its targeting was a little too strong so arno jumps places you werent wanting to go, along with some other inconsistencies but overall best parkour, i wish the chase system was as good as in 3 tho
That could be said for basically every AC game, especially the first 4 games
Honestly,in my opinion ac 1- revelation had the best parkour, you had absolute control of your character, you can side and back eject wherever you liked, you could catch ledges when you made a mistake, you had complete freedom, what makes unity so smooth is the automation and the animation, but you usually don't get that much control in Unity in your first try
Uh yes you do, your terrible skill-less experiences with Unity should not be the standard for control in that game
Ac1:🗿
Unity's parkour is flashy, but it's not as flawless as you remember. Replayed it a week ago and 9/10 Arno did some whack stunt and went flying opposite of where I wanted him to. I thin the Kenway games had my favorite parkour, followed by the Ezio trilogy.
To me flashy parkour doesn't mean anything when it's useless. Unity, you just heal after taking damage or just run away after killing
I cant see the logo in the assassin's the same way now that i finished origins
They should have add new move sets from Watch Dogs 2 tho
It's crazy to think about that AC1 released in 2007 and origins in 2017 and origins parkour doesn't even come remotely close to it.
Unity was the pinnacle of parkour
Yeah can't take it seriously when he jumps a whole story high sometimes tho😂
@@sheevpalpatine7591 it looks beautiful and casual, in general, it will not be difficult to repeat this in reality, I saw mountaineering competitions for speed where they climbed faster and without insurance, so...

Colby kanter you are aware that all unity added was 'fancy moves' which ignore gravity and apart from that it just removed stuff like side ejects and parkour being a tool to traverse not a go out of your way to do fancy moves
