    I moved from Atascadero; The Central Coast is nice, but the Pacific Northwest isn't bad either. I agree with Ryan on the Independent Investor Channel. He puts the core of his investments in index funds and bonds, but believes that as you learn more about stocks, you can scale into some single stocks, especially solid dividend stocks.. Good to hear from the Pismo area.
