- The Grand Bazaar (Kapalıçarşı) in Istanbul is one of the world's most famous shopping destinations and, at 30,700 square meters, the world's biggest enclosed bazaar. Once inside, the Bazaar's 64 streets and smaller alleyways house roughly 4,000 stores and the mosque, post office, cafes, banks, and police station, making it a little central city.
Grand Bazaar is a place that keeps lots of vanishing professions alive with their unique culture. It is the world’s oldest, the biggest bazaar where the most variable products are exhibited. The bazaar includes more than 3 thousand shops and it is visited by approximately 400 thousand people.

Mahmutpasha Bazaar is a shopping street in Istanbul, Turkey. It is located in the area between Grand Bazaar and Eminönü in the Mahmutpaşa neighbourhood of Fatih district. This market area, with copious small shops on both sides of the main street, is a symbol of cheap shopping in Istanbul.
This place can easily be called the "most crowded bazaar of Istanbul" Mahmoud Pasha was one of the most important viziers of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet during the period of Ottoman. The presence of a bath, a hostel, and a mosque built by Mahmud Pasha throughout the area is sufficient reason for the neighborhood’s name. You can see the tomb of Mahmoud Pasha in Mahmut Pasa mosque.
