I remember listening to this song for the first time, just liking it. I liked the music, but I didn't relate to it; a song was all it was for me. I wasn't familiar with divorce. My parents were the inseperatable two for me.
One day my father left his phone open on the counter. Given, I went to it because of curiousity. Thousands of messages. Hundreds of love declarations from over the years. Scenarios were described, and I read them even if I hated them. I had to know. "You're the only important one to me, love." Not to my mom. To his 20 year old girlfriend of 5 years. _Of 5 years_

My family is planning on sending me to a private school or boarding school, probably a boarding school because we live far in the country and one i refuse to go to bc this one guy, and the other my family already used to go to. If/when they do I'm playing this song, the reverb and slowed version, so loud in my speakers. Just because they think I'm a burden doesn't mean they can send me away.
They want to because they said they'd pick me up at school at 4. Fast forward 2 hours and I'm sitting with my boyfriend bc he usually takes public transit and he starts getting pissed off, both of our phones don't work or else i would have called my family. *boyfriend* decided that we should go to my friends house so i can return his headphones and use his phone, unfortunately its two miles away so we begin walking, and i love walking. I always have a lot going on so walking always makes me feel better, makes me feel like I'm going somewhere. We're almost there, like we can see my friends street and *boyfriend* had been playing music the entire time. I'm half deaf and he told me to cover my ears bc of how loud the next song is. We wanted to so what would happen id he turned bass boost all the way up on his song because i have vibration sensitivity. I feel my entire body shake and then he's tapping my shoulder, "Dude that's your car" and i look behind me and see my guardian, she's yelling so loud i can hear her through the sound proof car. *Boyfriends* eyes go wide and he just looks out the ground getting pissed off as i get in the car. She's screaming, yelling at me. keep in mind it was 6 when we left the school, it was getting dark, and it was now 7. She told me i was grounded forever, called me every which name and slur in the book, saying she couldn't have imagined having a grandson this inconsiderate and calling me a sociopath. She didn't even bring up *boyfriend* who's extremely noticeable, he wear clout goggles and he's a ginger, sticks out like a sore thumb. they say nothing. I get home and i wasn't even grounded, that's how pissed they were, they didn't even bother to ground me I'd "just get in trouble" So now they're looking at private schools and boarding school. Just do it, i don't care anymore.
