VW TIGUAN MK2 - How To Remove Dashboard Trim Removal (Heater Surround / Radio / Speedo Clocks etc)

Guide on how to remove the main dashboard trim on a VW Tiguan Mk2 model, years 2017 onwards.
The whole piece comes out as one unit, and runs around the stereo, heater air vents, speedo etc.
It's held in by push-fit clips around the edge of the trim. Patience is required, if one clips seems stuck / stiff, move on and come back to it later, sometimes having leverage as you work your way around makes the more difficult clips easier to remove.

Just watched your vid and have a question you might be able to help with. My Tiguan 2019 has an annoying rattle coming from the steering column. I’ve found where it is, it is just behind the lower column cover. In your vid you prize off the upper part with your trim remover tools. The bottom part appears to be screwed on. Do you know how to remove the bottom cover? When I tried the screw came out but I could remove the cover. Not wanting to force it off. Thanks.
