Organ doner or not, it's kind of messed up to ask a guy to give their heart to someone who needs a new heart but also is the reason he's under that car and dying in the first place. I know it's a tv show and not based in real life but still.
Exactly what I was thinking!! Thats just crazy
I don’t think this would have happened in reality. I’m not sure anyone would have consented. Most people would have wanted the doctors to keep fighting for their life.
@@bzh7648correct. That's called cohesion and doctors can not influence a patients decision in any way other than inform them of information about procedures or otherwise. Also you can't ask someone who's still alive for a heart organ donor or not. If there's anything I missed I'll reply once I'm done watching
@@brandonmcglocklin9040I think you meant coercion, not cohesion.
Guys, he guy with the car had a heart attack and he was gonna go to the hospital
"Hey this might be insensitive, but are you an organ donor?"
"For asking that question, my answer is 'no' "
Choi really deserves to be a doctor ... He has strength and speed ❤❤
Why didn't anyone think of trying to get the Jack out of the car and Jack the car up to get them out from under?🤔
It's just a TV show but there may not have been any. Even though every vehicle should have a jack not all do.
Well if they push it makes it more complicated for the victims to survive since his overly open. Even if there was a way out everyone who could move the car carefully ended up making it worse as the car was crushing him in the bottom
@@savedbygrace463 they had a whole damn fire department in there, the guys could have just lifted the car for the 10 seconds it would have taken to slide the guy out from underneath. "ooh there's jagged metal" he's probably losing his leg regardless, meanwhile he's literally bleeding out and will DIE if they don't get him on an operating table. this whole scene was infuriating.
@@savedbygrace463and what about the other 100 cars in the parking lot
@@perhapsbutmaybe 🤷🤣 is just a show
Just another typical day at Chicago Med
That's why I took myself out of the donor list.
Whoa that was out of nowhere
epic vid
They could have handed her the clamp when she first got under there, then tried to clap it with her free hand. If she got the clamp on she could climb out, if not then figure something else out. That was the first thing that came to mind, but I watched the whole thing and saw them use a clamp as soon as he was out. (Also I'm fully aware this is a show and they did all this to be dramatic)
I am big fan 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That was oh my got it not good
the driver was old the guy was young dont you dare ask him if he is a organ donor at that stage. if any thing you wait till you stabilize him
April should have called for a different doctor. She's still too attached
She wasnt too attached, Ethan was too attached. They could've gotten Don out sooner but Ethan didn't want them too because it put April at risk
nah, that was all Ethan's fault
It was ethan fault and he was boss , april was right
Great, another reupload..
beggars can’t be choosers
Did he ened up making it?
I searched Google, and it seems so.
I just looked it up. Both men made it!!

@@l.a.3479 dude obviously a typo who cares
@@l.a.3479I'm impressed that you recognized the typo and tried to correct it. So few people who comment actually care enough to do that. I, for one, think that it makes you an intelligent rock star!
April is my favourite one in the MD videos!
This episode made me hate Ethan so much.
What About The Driver Who Crash The Car 😮😮😮😮
What happened to the balloons they are supposed. To inflate underneath
I'd disagree. Goodwin should've been calling the shots (what else more important could have been taking her attention? )
And in that case, she would have made the same call. No one is objectively going to risk the life of their staff to save a patient. The staff will save dozens of lives in a week-- but not if they're dead, disabled, or on medical leave.
season 3, 4 or is it 2 ? since Robin, Connor and Ava are at the beginning
There is no use of two people dying or her getting hurt. The reality is sometimes people die. When treating patients the doctors shouldn't be able to become patients themselves.
Why didn’t they lift up the car
@@l.a.3479 Drama
His leg was caught on one of the wheels, so I can only assume that lifting the car would've ripped his leg off with it 🤷🏻♀️
Leg was caught in the wheel shaft, lifting it would’ve made things worse, and because he was already losing a lot of blood, it wouldn’t work also even it would’ve made him lose a leg if the car was lifted.
If they opened the trunk and got out the jack, they could have lifted the car's driver side frontend in two minutes.
I think they were trying go for a steady, even, all-around lift of the car. That's probably why they didn't resort to the jack.
And if they don't have a jack
It fake
How did that happen? Did someone tell that driver to do it or did he do it on purpose or accident? Or did he lose track of the road and how did that man get ran over?
Consensus of the comment seems to be the driver was having a heart attack and trying to drive himself to the hospital. And in case you don’t live in the USA the reason anyone would attempt something this insane here is because a ride in the wee-woo wagon costs upwards of $2k, and with an impending hospital stay that’s going to set you back even more, no thanks (and yes that’s even with insurance. Fun times over here).
Did he live?
Get the jack.
And if they don't have a jack
