Thanks for this great video on Oviedo. I used have a girlfriend for 3-1/2 years long distant from Oviedo. So even if it’s been over 30 years, I still remember all these areas in Oviedo. My ex even took me to the tennis club for lunch that was up on a hill. I stayed in a hostel near the smaller old church and it was owned by a man from Argentina.
Such a charming beautiful city and glad I got to visit it twice. I would love to visit Oviedo again, but my ex and I are no longer speaking.
Oh and in 94 my Japanese friend met a Spanish girl from Madrid and now married and living in Madrid. So being Chinese American, I sort of started a trend in 89. Lol!
In 89 went to a Chinese restaurant and at the time, there was only 2 Chinese restaurants in Oviedo.
Beautiful city and everyone be still dressed very well when they stepped out of the house.
Wow! I used to date a girl from Oviedo and got to visit in 89 and 90. The city wax so beautiful and the ppl. very warm and friendly. Me and my ex used to walk all over and even tho it was over 30 years ago, I still recognize everything in this video. My ex even took me to the Tennis club up on a hill and I think we walked there. Her dad had a law office and a real estate office. We both thought we would get married but after 3-1/2 year long distant we ended our relationship.
I’m asian American and age took me a Chinese restaurant and there was only 2. The chow mein was made from spaghetti noodles bc they didn’t sell Chinese noodles in Spain. Looking back, they should’ve of used top ramen instant noodles and many Chinese make chow mein at home that way and almost like the real thing.

Pues para mí,,,ni fu ni fa,, viví allí,,ya dejó Oviedo,para otros.
No todo el mundo tiene los mismos gustos, a mi si me gustan las ciudades con edificios antiguos y calles estrechas.
Pués yo vivo y estoy enamorada de Oviedo, cuanto más visito otros sitios, que igual son lindos, más me enamoro de Oviedo, por lo cómodo, todo tengo a mano, todo se puede ir andando, limpio, gente amable y educada, seguro, que más se puede pedir.
