Indeed Secular Sunshine.Well spotted and to day I would move obstructions (people) out of the way and take an angled shot. However, The camera used has a Tele-lens extender. This kept me far enough away from danger I believed. Thank you for visiting my ScaleJetFred CZcams channel with 144 mainly RC related videos. Greetings from Ireland, Fred
@@ovalwingnut I was thinking the same thing. I know it's rare maybe hardly ever happens but that thing throws a blade at just the right (or wrong) time and it will impale anyone and anything in it's path. I'm not into RC planes but I was into helicopters, 450 size electric and when that rotor was spooling up I was always thinking about a blade coming off. Unfortunately with a helicopter you are almost never in a safe and close position unless your landing and takeoff position was well above you. At the very least you can take a blade to the leg.
I don't know what came about Wren - but JetCat and others refind the system and make big Bucks from it! That's the truth.... coming from a heli background, it's called "blade shedding". And "those blades" were humming... 😲
