I was expecting that i would miss prelims cut-off by 5-8 marks and didn't prepare for mains but I never stopped prepareing GA after prelims and it paid off, I got 10 15 days after prelims result and prepared mains and GA. GA and english were the biggest game changer as I am avg at maths and quants. So thats how luck played a crucial role
@@sritamaroy988for GA I did affairsloud daily PDFs, and I prepared only last 4 months of Current Affairs. For quants and reasoning I just completed the syllabus and gave mocks, and I watched constantguide's foundation videos on CZcams regarding quants just to get different perspectives of solving questions and think in different ways. I am still avg at maths and reasoning I'm still not so fast at solving these questions. For English you should read novels if you can, even self help books will work, it will help you expand your vocabulary, then you can move to newspaper if you are comfortable with it, I used to read novels so it helped me a lot and to read novels you have to clear your grammar first, you should be familiar with normal speaking English, if you are not than focus on grammar and read story books that are easy to understand. I also did my schooling from Hindi medium then I started watching movies and stuff from 10th standard so I got familiar with speaking English and basic grammar, and I moved on to novels and newspapers. English and GA were so imperative for my selection. If you can improve these 2 subjects then you are already ahead of so many aspirants already.
